I’m not sure what happened at this McDonalds today but it must have been busy. Our food wasn’t made with love junior chickens had no lettuce and sundae was overfilled and leaked onto the tray and made my hands sticky after I touched it. Forgotten lettuce and a bit too much ice cream was not enough to warrant complaint from me. Other than that it was your typical McDonald’s. Fast and just as you expect. However, we elected to sit in the play area as we have a toddler who decided she only wanted to run and scream today why are these play areas rare these days at McDonalds???. I immediately regretted this decision - but have you ever had to tell a toddler they couldn’t do something you just told them they could do? - on the floor in the playroom the bodies of the lost fries laid, with their innards smeared across the floor as a warning to other passing fries. There were three tables: all three of them had obviously seen this same battle; which was evident by the smeared greasy fingerprints of others. Only one table wasn’t covered in garbage and old half eaten food. We were the only ones in the room at that time so we had the pick of the litter. A friendly fly visited us mid-meal and refused to leave, despite our attempts to make it feel unwelcome. It must have escaped the prison at the cash, where it’s friends were living. When we were at the counter waiting for the food I watched several flies performing the “cell block tango” from the musical Chicago amongst the donuts. Overall, perhaps another case of understaffed employees.
Stopped this afternoon for 2 coffees. They were a little busy at the counter but not what I would consider crazy busy. The drivethru had a bit of a line. The reason to explain is there was one person in front of me at the counter when I got there. 2 other groups of ppl formed in behind me. There was a few groups of ppl waiting for food to the left and some ppl using the kiosk. The person in front of me, myself and the two other groups waiting about ten minutes with staff moving around the counter occasionally looking at us but no one mentioned anything to us. Finally the last behind me walked over and asked a girl standing behind the counter but not helping us if they weren't taking orders at the counter. The girl said no we aren't. not one staff member had let us know or even acknowledged us or at the very least have a sign up. I left and went to Tim's instead.
No ketchup on the dispenser. No lids available at the beverage dispensing area. Like the deliver to table option. The delivery person is nice! My nephew and niece gave your playplace a 5 star coz it smells clean and well maintained. Kid-friendliness: The playplace is clean.
Went through drive through tried the McChicken big Mac. Never going to try it again. I assumed it would be an actual mcChicken patty not a thin pressed piece of battered chicken that wasn't even the size of the bun my husband thought they forget his bottom chicken it was so small. Not impressed at all. I think it would be better with mcchicken sauce. Liked the addition of the pickles
Almost always fairly busy, the staff isn't always the friendliest, however, they are fairly quick most of the time. Only visited this location a handful of times, our order was wrong only one of those times. Overall good serviceFood: 4/5
Worst McD's in the maritimes. You have to repeat your order 3-10 times for them to get it, you show up with 2 cars in front of you, 3 more that were there after you get through first. Got 2 xl coffees, neither were full, started to tell the staff at the window and she just closed the window and said "have a good day" as she actually wasn't listening.
It's McDonald's so you know how it is...sometimes they forget stuff in your bag but if you're a little bit understanding, they will always fix it. Mistakes happen right? People are people.Food: 5/5
Very sloppy orders through drive-thru and they usually don't have it all in the bag sometimes you have to wait like 20 mins or more Kid-friendliness: They didn't give the kids a toy that day and it was also sent out the window in a bag... not in the little boxes they usually come in also they wouldn't let the kids have what they wanted to drink and I'd pay the difference which does not make any sense
Super busy Friday night line up, staff were moving the people through like an assembly line, albeit flawless. Good job y'all Food: 5/5
I am sure they have a reasonable excuse why they messed up both sandwiches ordered, my other half ordered a sandwich with no pickles extra sauce and got no sauce, an extremely large amount of lettuce and I had ordered a sandwich with no pickles and no onions and as you can see from my photo that isn't what I got.. the worker ever repeated the order back.
