I love their breakfast, I had Egg McMuffin and Hash Brown with orange juice. It was really good
I have been going to McDonald’s for years. I’ve always gotten my morning coffee from this location. Always had quick service and rarely got my order wrong. Even during busy hours of the day. But in the past year the service and quality has gone into the toilet. The line up is usually 10-20 cars long and takes forever. I no longer get coffee in the mornings anymore because it just takes too long. The other night I went there and ordered a Big Mac combo I had to wait 30 minutes for my order. If I wanted to wait that long I could have gone to an actual restaurant. On top of that, there are countless homeless people wandering around and causing a disturbance inside. I really wish they could figure their stuff out. I will not being going to McDonald’s anytime soon.
Good McDonald's location, food is consistently good which is the main reason to go to a McDonald's, you know what to expect. Have had a few times where a mistake was made on my order but McDonald's Canada if you leave feedback on their website always makes it right. Service is generally quick if you are in the Drive-thru, inside it can be a bit more inconsistent however.
I like this place; it's location is the best. You can get a nice cup of coffee since early morning. Personally I love Late with a carrot cupcake. Special mention for Donna, her energy and humor make each visit different. Is nice to see when the leader is in that mode. I don't give 5 stars just because some of my visits there's a cashier guy who doesn't have the best attitude with customers. If you live in Cranbrook or not you must visit this comfortable place!
One thing is for sure that when you order something in the drive through you'll get something in the bag. Most likely not what, or how you ordered it and the Fry's will be cold and gross even after asking for fresh Fry's. Your big mac light sauce and no pickles will be swimming in sauce and have extra pickles and the management don't care enough to get their staff to produce a quality meal. I've been eating here for many years but the service and quality took a severe nose dive once they went to dual lanes and new owners.. McDonald's head office should do some investigation into the terrible food and service here. At least they don't screw up the chicken nuggets ‍. I've called in numerous times but it's always the same problems. Now we just buy way less.
We went through the drive through at 4pm-ish and ordered 4 CHICKEN big Mac Meals. When we went to check the food, we realized that there was 4 REGULAR big Mac Meals which was a common misunderstanding. So I called in to tell them that. There was this really rude lady that answered the phone. She moved the phone away to talk to someone it sounded like and then rudely said "So what do you want me to do about it" and slammed the phone down. Overall will not be coming back any time soon.
horrible service. Did mobile order they deleted my number before they served me then said oh someone else took your food when it was infront of me. Next day went again and didn't notice the drywall from the roof coming down until a customer infront of an employee knocked the drywall from the roof down causing dust to fly into everyone's food was very gross not going back here again fix the roof as their is a leak causing the drywall to crumble on the ceiling
Food and service are, and always have been amazing. However, through no fault of their own, I'm not comfortable visiting this location either in person or in my car anymore. The booths along the wall towards the bathrooms are usually occupied by the occupants, or their associates, from the Travelodge homeless shelter next door. Going through the drive-tbru I'm worried about keeping my doors locked to keep these same people from attempting to enter my vehicle. I used to order from the drive-thru and then park and eat in my car in the parking lot but again, no longer feel safe doing so. I know I am not the only person, especially female, who feels this way. I feel great sympathy for the new owners who have no readily available solution to this unfortunately growing problem.
Tried going through the drive though at this location and I had a pocket full of change. It was too difficult to count it in the driver side of my car I thought I’d trust the staff to count it and return the extra coin. But when I got to the window the staff said no they would not except my change because I did not count it. I told them I was not concerned and they called the manager to the window. I thought this was a mistake and they just could not count Canadian change. But the manager came forward with a grouchy face and said I needed to park my car and count the change before they would take my money because there were people might start honking. Well this conversational exchange took longer then any grade 7 might take to count out $9.40 in quarters, dimes and nickels and loonies. Gift the Pennie’s to customers for good luck, That should not have mattered. Anyway, I park to the side and with difficult count the change. The staff person, as nice as she was, was yelled at by the manager “hurry up, we need you in here!” She was shaking so much she dropped some change. In the end I told the manager, I was leaving and wanted my money back that I was going to inform the owner. She just walked away lacking any empathy. I was going to contact the owner but I’m from out of town from the mainland and taking care of my dad in an Emergency and the ice creams were for him and his neighbour in ICU. I went to Denny’s for some supper beautiful ice cream shakes and don’t mind to never go to Crandbrook McDonalds ever again. Poor Managment makes the restaurant so unappealing and I’m moving back to Cranbrook and have been going from diner to diner for lunch and dinner getting the lay of the land. I have been impressed by them all, but McDonalds seems to be managed so poorly and with unintelligent policies that I won’t be back. There are lots of fast food restaurants to choose from in the area and I don’t need the stress of people both unable and unwilling to accept change. Im not poor and not hard to please but I don’t give business to bullies.
Went through, and he got our order wrong 3 times. So I told him for the fourth time, finally got it correct. Pulled up to pay and he was complaining to people about us through his head set. Started laughing at us and being really rude.
