I have been a loyal client of MBL artistry from day one. All of their nail techs are wonderful but Kimmy is my girl. She is so talented and dedicated to her craft; we always come up with fun designs and themes. I get my hard gel fills every 4 weeks. I am such a satisfied client that I’ve also used MBL for facials and microblading. Honestly, I am not sure what I would do without Kimmy, Lysa and the entire team at MBL!Services: Manicure
Been coming here since 2015 before it was MBL Artistry. Since becoming MBL I have always been happy with my nails. I've seen many technicians here and am always satisfied with my nails. Even had my wedding nails done here back in 2018.
I've been getting my nails done there for sometime! If there was an option to give more then 5 stars I definitely would. Everyone that works there is great and extremely talented. But my go to is Vi, very delicate, and gives you a more natural looking set.
Vi is absolutely amazing and incredibly professional! She is always super kind and friendly and greets me by name. It feels like I'm getting my nails done by a friend! She is always up for weird/last minute nail art and gives really great suggestions which is so appreciated because I'm very indecisive. I would highly recommend her to absolutely everyone. I've been going to MBL for about two years now and every single time has been such a great experience! The salon is super clean and super cute and all the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this salon to anyone and would definitely trust all their services.Services: Pedicure
I’ve been in search for a new lash tech and been hearing such good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. I had Michelle as my lash tech and I don’t regret it one bit. I have extremely straight lashes and after telling her what style I usually get, she recommended another. I was hesitant but first but I am so glad I listened to her advice. Very knowledgeable and such a sweetheart. I would highly recommend coming here, request Michelle if possible! She offers so many other services as well!
It's hard to understand how this place can have so many great reviews... I've been getting my nails done for 15 years at great nail salons... Definitely not like this place. This place is definitely a factory where they're just trying to get through clients. My technician didn't pay any close attention to the detail of my nail shape or length they are all different and she was so rough with my nails when prepping them. It hurt quite a bit but I didn't want to make a big deal, until she hurt my toe so much I flinched and she apologized. The filing of my nail beds was also super rough. She just asked me if I wanted my nails shorter but didn't check the length with me before she cut. She cut off all my nails to the length of my finger... I haven't had nails this short in a decade. The finish of my nails is all rough as well... Not just on the end but also on the tops I got glitter polish so it's not obvious by looking, but anyone who feels them would feel they are covered in bumps. Sad.
I got a regular manicure here and was very disappointed. The final result was bumpy and not smooth. The lines of the polish towards my cuticles were crooked. The quality of manicure here looks like something I could have done at home by myself. When my nails were drying, my technician bumped into my hands. One of my nails ended up getting ruined, could have been my mistake or hers - but when they redid it, it was really rushed and sloppy. The only pros were that the staff were friendly and the store itself was bright, clean, and welcoming. The price is reasonable. But the service itself was disappointing and I will not be coming back. I'd rather pay slightly more for a better quality manicure. Update: my nail already chipped in two days : definitely not happy with the quality of service here. Even when I paint my nails at home they last at least a week without chipping. Update: I went back a week later because I was contacted by several staff here about my poor experience and they offered to redo my nails free of charge, which was nice. However, the way they did it was borderline harassment. They texted me from two different numbers, called me, left a voicemail, messaged me on Yelp, etc. They also told me several times "we wish you would have contacted us before posting online like that" as if I did something wrong, and it made me feel guilty which I did not like. It really felt like they were harassing me and I did not feel comfortable whatsoever. They gave me a hard time for writing reviews on both Google and Yelp, even though it’s entirely in my right to do so. I went back and got my nails redone by someone else, and although he did put in a lot of effort and care in, the quality still was not great. The lines still were not crisp and the end result still looked a bit sloppy. I appreciate the effort and the generosity to redo my nails but in the end I still was not satisfied with the quality of the service.
I absolutely love MBL!!! My girlfriends and I go visit every 4 weeks for our #selfcare #girlsday. Their nail techs are so talented and the owner Lysa is the best! You can tell that she cares for her staff and for her clients. Through this pandemic, she's made sure to put protocols in place to keep everyone safe. I used to be a loyal client of this salon! They added extra fees on top of hard gel fill that wasn’t confirm with me during the service. Firstly, nail technician didn’t mention there is an additional cost for cuticle removal secondly, when I came back after 5 weeks for fill they charged me extra again for 2 nail fix, same technician didn’t tell me. 2 of my nails were peeled off, it took 5 weeks from the last time I had fill as I was on vacation. I usually go for fill every 3 weeks. No one response to my email when I ask for store owner contact info!Service: Manicure
my friend and i have been coming to MBL for over a year now. we’ve always had a pretty good experience with the host and the nail techs. they always call before the appointment as a reminder and they are fairly accommodating. we both scheduled an appointment with a specific nail tech. the new receptionist priya calls us and told us the tech had a critical emergency. while that is understandable, the way she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional and rude. she had an excusatory tone, was standoffish and passive aggressive. although, she said it was a critical condition and the expected return won’t be known; she later followed with that only one customer can get their nails done from her. we kindly requested another tech for the two of us as we booked a month in advance knowing we have a week of events that week, however was repeating the same dates and times which were not close for us both to come and were well after the events we needed them for. After requesting for other dates or openings, she had a very passive aggressive tone saying I have already given you all the options we have and there is nothing else open. We said that we will just cancel and she then did not even have the courtesy of saying bye or apologizing for the inconvenience, says “k”and slams the phone. This is not the experience we have been coming back to MBL for over a year now and is such a disappointment when your staff is the least bit polite or patient in helping deal with such circumstances. as i clearly stated in my initial review that the nail tech is not the problem at all and i never blamed her. we have been loyal to her for over a year and never had a problem. we felt so disrespected by the receptionist and that is the issue. i also understand that working at the front desk that you can encounter rude customer but other customers should not targeted with misplaced anger. the front desk is the first level of service you encounter, that is why i felt that it needed to be publicly addressed because they represent the whole team. we were very discouraged from the receptionists attitude and hope other clients do not get to feel the unwelcoming attitude over the phone. we are not asking for clarity on her situation, we always trust her and have been seeing her for so long and it’s sad to hear that. we think you are overlooking the actual issue which is the poor customer service on behalf of the receptionist. putting her personal affairs online is no one’s business.Service: Manicure
