Food was piping hot so hot the handle of my knife had melted to the skillet by the time it was set down infront of us, full of flavor and served in big portions. The atmosphere was colorful and full of unique touches. Unfortunately, the service was not good. We entered an empty dining room and were seated at tiny, unlit table next to the bathrooms with a broken open katsup bottle and a servers spare apron tucked in with us. Our server had no interest in explaining the specials. We came in during a notable lull, being the only table in the dining room for the first 15 minutes of our visit, so I'm at a loss for why he was in such a hurry to get away from us.
The food is great - fresh and of good quality. The service is phenomenal as well.
My family dined here on Thursday 1/5/23 and got sat immediately. LaLo took great care of us with his menu knowledge and prompt refill service. He paid special attention to my 4 year old daughter and she loved talking to him. My wife ordered the Burrito Much Large and she said it was “exactly what a burrito should be!” I stole a bite off of her plate and can confirm that it was exceptional. My fajitas were amazing as well. The décor is vibrant without being too loud and everyone seemed to be having a great time. 100% would recommend as this is the best, authentic Mexican restaurant in lake country. We will be back very soon.
Their homemade guacamole is the best guacamole I have ever had! So fresh and delicious! The owners and staff are very friendly, always smiling and making sure you’re enjoying yourself. Excellent kids options as well! Fun decor and atmosphere!
Omg... if you want authentic, then this is the place. Mazatlan has always been my favorite place in Mexico and to find a restaurant with the same name in the heart of Delafield was a pleasant surprise. It did not disappoint. I was transported back with their flavors. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Their service is outstanding as well.
never disappoints. Great meals for the entire family. Everyone left extremely satisfied with perfectly cooked very hot and very fast for made to order. We go as often as we can. the guacamole is excellent, although not made at your table, it is far superior to any of those gimmicky other places.
Nice place affordable and good sized portions food tasted good clean place and freindly staff. Love the decorations inside and they even feature outdoor seating options which is really awesome as well chips and salsa complimentary were another great touch plus the guacamole mix overall awesome place will definitely stop in next time we are In town and reccomend it
Super nice people, I asked for a vegan friendly meal , they have a vegetarian section of the menu. However I asked for bean enchiladas with green sauce and it didn't disappoint I'm pretty sure more items can be made vegan friendly.
Margaritas were excellent so was the food. My daughter had the special...enchilada verse with chorizo. She said they were a bit bland but the chorizo was excellent with lots of flavor. I had El Combo....enchilda,taco,chili relleno, tostada,rice and beans. I dont know what was different but I lived the beans. They had do much flavor. Our server was awesome. I will definitely go back another day.
The food is prepared well, presented well and tastes sooo good!! I luv the colorful decorations in the restaurant and the servers singing in Spanish, too!Food: 5/5
