Mayo High School is an American high school in Rochester, Minnesota. It is named after the brothers William James Mayo and Charles Horace Mayo, physicians and founders of the Mayo Clinic. It is a public school and part of the Rochester Independent School District #535. The current principal of Mayo High School is Tom Olson.HistoryMayo High School was built in 1966 in the southeastern section of Rochester, Minnesota. It has a capacity to hold approximately 1800 students and was the largest high school in the city until Century High School was built, and was named after the brothers William James Mayo and Charles Horace Mayo, physicians and founders of Mayo Clinic.StatisticsAs of 2014, there are 1622 students attending Mayo High School. One of three senior high schools b in Rochester MN . Very up to date

Mediocre at best. Great school if you're a pretentious liberal, but not so much if you have different view points. Many students, teachers, and even required school functions push liberal agenda. Quite a few cringey students as well, referred to as "Door Sixers" by some. Quite a big gap between students who excel, and those who do not. Not a good school if you're just an average student. Some AP/Honors classes may be too difficult, while the normal curriculum is ridiculously easy, and constantly slowed by the lack of ambition by some students. The Auto Shop and Theatre programs are pretty lit though. AP Human Geo is also a great class if you love Japan.

Great but big school, when you start off if you can't find your class here a tip; walk around the citlcr until you find it. :)

Mayo High School is part of Rochester's great public school system, and home of the Mayo Spartans. During the season check out some of the football games, played on their brand new amazing football field, it will for sure be a fun time.

RAWR xD I love this school and the alt left agenda that they mercilessly cram through the school system. Door six is the perfect place to hang out with my fellow rainbow rats and converse about our favorite Mangas and blare our "unique" music. The only problem is the AP classes that the people who want to "work hard".
