Food was fantastic, staff really nice and took the time to explain the dishes and wonderful coktails! Loved it! I recommend :
Very good food and service. Good cocktails and music.
This place can get super hyped around midnight and has tasty drinks. The decor is pretty and perfect chatting with friends around a drink before midnight. Definitely not a place to eat. The portions were too small and last time I was there with a group of friends 10, they either served us the wrong plate or never came with a few orders.
good light settings and good music. However, the staff is BAD. They are inattentive to the clients. They only serve the ones that take bottle service. One time, I was at the bar with my friend and waitresses stood there and took pictures of themselves. I asked a bus boy to order and he simply said: the waitress has to do this. He didn’t offer to go get her. I strongly dont recommend.
The decor and atmosphere is very cute and chic and if you come early for a pre-dinner drink for example it is a good choice since the staff is friendly and the space is quiet. The cocktails themselves are not really anything special though and during late hours it turns into a club. There are just better places in the neighborhood if you're looking for a creative and well-made cocktail.
Pricey drinks.. yes.. BUT.. really enjoyed the flavour and selection. Also, ambiance super nice with dim lights and this Victorian style. Crowd was also very appealing and kind of formal. Great to unwind after work and simply relax.
For a self-proclaimed cocktail bar, the most basic cocktails leave much to be desired. Ordered 3 Old-Fashioned’s and was sorely disappointed with a drink that was overly sweet, diluted and overall badly proportioned. For 3 Basil Hayden’s OFs, the bill rang to 50$. For that price I would hope for a higher standard of quality. The rest of the evening went smoothly and service was good. Bottle service was speedy and the bus-boys’ visits to replenish glasses/juices/sodas were numerous. Manager kept checking in which was a nice touch.
Place was dead when we went to catch a live Jazz show for my girlfriend's university paper. They have interesting cocktails. The band playing never addressed us or let us know that they were actually done and wouldn't be returning... We just decided we'd had enough and left
Great DJ on Saturday, lots of funk and soul mixed in with new top 40. Beautiful decor, friendly staff and DJ, he came over to say hi when we complemented his skills. Drinks were fantastic.
I'm very neutral when it comes to Mayfair, Good music, vibrant crowd but man can it get clustered in here, Can feel like a rush hour tokyo subway ride and in case you haven't experienced that, then just head to Mayfair on a busy night, You would need to be as tall as Shaq to not spill or let alone drink your drink. Also one of the bartenders was quite shady, told us the credit card machine did not work and we had to pay cash, yet a little further down the bar was a barmaid swiping a transaction via credit card. Needless to say, no tip left.. Don't try that with your clients. Aside from that still a cool place.
