Mayfair Bar

First visit after moving to town. Seems like a good "locals" joint. Burgers were pretty good, maybe 3.5-4/5. Meat could use some seasoning, but a solid bite. Seemed like a lot of food was frozen then fried, though. Wouldn't hurt to add some more scratch-made items. Even if they don't, I'm guessing we'll be back plenty of times. Friendly crowd and good service.

I’m not quite sure how this place has an overall rating of 4.7. We decided to go this evening after hearing about the award winning Mexican food and chili cheese fries from a radio add. Unfortunately, we did not have an “Award Winning” experience. The bar is your typical bar atmosphere, but the food was less than desirable. For a place advertising their Mexican food its interesting that there’s only a handful of items on the menu (nachos, tacos, and a wet burrito). The nachos were nothing special, barely edible with lackluster seasoning (if any). My salad was terrible (they took everything they had in the refrigerator (tasted old) and threw it on a plate). Big disappointment and will definitely not be visiting again. Honorable mention: the chili cheese fries are the only thing on the menu worth getting.

Hey... kewl small town bar. Decent eats. Booze... what can ya say. Everyone seemed very nice. Might visit again at some point. Small pool tables. Pretty good time.
