Maxi & Cie

I'm telling you, This Maxi in Saint-Jérôme is a beast! I mean, it's huge! You can get lost in the aisles, but in a good way. The selection of groceries is massive, I've never left empty handed. Plus, it's super close to my place, so it's a total win. And let's talk about their sales that are always on point! If you're looking for a great shopping experience in Saint-Jérôme, this Maxi is the way to go. It is in my opinion, the best in town!nn- Sean the mattress guy!

So unfortunate. I usually love Maxi. This one however has a staff that couldn't care less. I have seen them ignore customers with questions.nNot helpful.

usually a pleasant experience and now I know why i only use self serve.nnWent yesterday around 8pm and decided to go to the cash register. The cashier was useless, no Hi , nothing. Kept talking to this other guy employee behind her, scanning 1-2 items, then stops to continue her conversation with the other employee.nnYou shouldn’t even have a job! even when she gave the receipt to me, no eye contact, no have a good day, nothing. Worst service and i suggest you get ride of that employee. I’m not expecting a 5 star service but the basics of customer service, She did not even say hi to me just started scanning and talking to the other employee, as if i was bothering her. she was the last cash register all the way to the end.nWill never use a cash register again, hoping she looses her job. she clearly doesn’t care. she is only there to talk, and flirt.

Staff need better training, a huge lack in service from staff on the floor, they don't seem to want to bother to reach items that are at the top of the shelves out of reach because they didn't restock the shelves,nThe store cleanliness needs to be seen to, the milk fridge needs cleaning very smelly, fridge for the eggs same thing,nIf they can fix these issues it would be a huge improvement.

Pretty good variety and fantastic prices. I just wish they had a larger variety of $10.00 bulk packs like other chains that I will not mention. Very clean for a grocery/department store, excellent staff and very easy to get around the aisles. Definitely one of the better shops of this types for their prices and variety.
