We got vegetable pakora to start and 2 lamb dishes for the meals. Everything was delicious, lamb was cooked perfectly. The craft cocktails didn’t sound like something I would normally order but we tried anyways and they were great as well. The service was unlike any other restaurant - we felt so welcomed and appreciated. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would highly suggest eating in and experiencing their service and environment, it was really amazing.
We went and experienced the off menu Valentines dinner this year and were absolutely blown away. The combination of the storytelling, the impeccable service and the almost too good for Kamloops food was perfection. Each course was a surprise, and paired with a fresh, new-to-us cocktail. It's an investment, but we would absolutely do it again.
A MUST TRY if you're in the Kamloops area. Hands down the most phenomenal Indian food we have ever had. And the cocktails were next level! If we lived in Kamloops, we would be here every day. I do not even have the words to explain just how amazing our experience was at Maurya's - the wonderful food, drinks, service and chill atmosphere - we can't wait to go back!
We just attended Chef Dilip's OFF-MENU Experience! The menu was thoughtfully designed, the food perfectly prepared and served with heartwarming stories. It was a taste extravaganza that will not be soon forgotten.
Had worst experience here, we ordered soup and kebabs for starters and soup was so bad that we decided to not order anything more. The soup was thick tawa gravy and nothing like soupy. The vegetables in it were not even cooked properly and we couldn't even have it, had to return it. Kebabs were not juicy , mint chutney had no mint flavor, all in all - worst experience. If you don't agree to me, just look at the picture and decide for yourself if you can call that dish as soup ! Highly overpriced place as well. Not recommended.
My husband and I had dinner at Maurya’s last week, and it was truly excellent. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. A real highlight was the wonderful cocktails. The bartender will check in with you about your palate and preferred flavours and will tailor your chosen concoction specifically to your palate! This is a service I’ve never seen elsewhere - and it pays off, the cocktails are really out of this world. I started with a Tamarind Margarita. I was almost reluctant to try the Cardamom Dream, not being sure I would like it as much, but it was every bit as lovely in its own way. If you’re anywhere near Kamloops, Maurya’s is not to be missed! Excellent service and food and truly special cocktails.
Exquisite, both the service and the taste. Excellent presentation. Everything was unique, authentic and original. We were visiting from Ontario. Maurya's team turned our visit in to a delightful experience despite it being a hot summer day filled with wildfire smoke.

My wife and I decided to grab an early lunch here while we were getting our tires changed over. It was an excellent decision as the both of us haven’t had the opportunity to try this place out. We were both pleasantly surprised with not only the excellent food, but the service was impeccable as well. The cauliflower wings were to die for as well as the samosas. We ordered the buttered chicken main to share and they accommodated separating the ingredients for the both of us without us asking. If I could rate the experience above a 5/5 I certainly would. Pricing was beyond reasonable for the amount of food and the quality. Try it out!
I had a birthday dinner here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. They explained the menu in great detail and answered any question we had. The food itself was absolutely delicious. So much flavour packed into every bite. I can't wait to return!
