My favourite fried chicken spot in Calgary. I am a fan of Mary Brown's in general, but this particular location is my favourite. The chicken is always so fresh and crispy while still being moist and perfectly seasoned. The taters are always hot and fresh, too. The staff is also really nice and they try their best to help me out whenever I ask for recommendations. Warning though: I've been here countless times and there have been a couple of occasions where their credit/debit machine isn't working so they can only accept cash. I won't deduct any stars for that because I don't think that's their fault I believe it's their service provider because we tried going to the Edo next door after we couldn't pay here and they also had the same problem.

Pickle chips were greasy and just tasted like salt. Fries/taters were cold and hard. Chicken was greasy and boring. Sandwiches are lame. Nothing we had tasted good.

I love the big Mary sandwiches! My go to burger! In my opinion, it tastes better than the Popeyes burger. The meat is fresh and the sauce is great !

Needs improvement on how to handle food safety and sanitation...packaging of the food should indicate its shelf life so that the consumer could monitor if still safe for human consumption. Never recommend it nor gave them the chance of another bad experienceFood: 1/5

We ate in, they were just slammed with mobile and in person orders and the three staff members stayed calm cool and positive. Got our food efficiently and great customer service all throughout :

I love coming here for a well-earned cheat meal. I'm a big fan of fried chicken and this place is one of my favorites. I don't even live near here but it's worth the trip because the food is always fresh and service is really good. Not the fastest fast-food restaurant out there, but the wait time is still reasonable even when they're busy. I was not a fan of their thick-cut fries before I thought they got soggy too quickly, but I think they recently changed their fries to thinner ones which stay crispier for longer. Also, I find that when who I presume to be the owner/manager is working in the back, he is pretty generous with the quantity.

I went here on a Tuesday night around 7pm and the food was sooo good! I've heard this location is the best and I don't know if it happened to be a lucky night or if its consistently this good but I will return for sure to this location. We had the 9 piece meal and the spicy chicken was so fresh and moist they are actually pretty spicy, its almost like they use a cayenne pepper powder to dust the chicken...would be better if they could incorporate it into the batter though, the fries were fresh and really good, coleslaw was great, customer service was good!

The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend the Big Mary with sidekick sauce :
