The chicken wasn't cooked and it was full of grease. I called them and they wanted me to bring it back to them and they were going to cook me another one. How dumb and inconvenient after they give us raw chicken. We threw it out. Terrible. And the customer service even worse. Barely speak English. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I go to Mary browns very often for lunch as I go to the high school near by. My card was declined today. I was trying to pay for a meal. Had nothing else on me. I went to sit back down with my friends as I had a packed lunch I was just gonna eat when I returned to school. Figured my spending was low and I would top it back up when I got home. When me friend got his order there was a second bag that came out with it. Absolutely incredible! If I see that lady when I go again I will make sure to thx her properly by re paying her for the meal! What a awesome experience if I ever get chicken in the future ik where I am going.
This is an everything-fried-chicken store. It’s just like Popeyes or KFC, except those two are better. The fried chicken at Mary Brown’s tasted so-so, in my opinion; it‘s like supermarket fried chicken. And the gravy that came with it tasted a bit more like soy sauce. And they’re overpriced! The 2-piece fried chicken meal with a drink and a coleslaw is $9.99. And even when you order more, like a bucket or something to share like we did, the price does not get better. Service was just ok. The only good things I can say are: 1 They have malt vinegar packets; 2 They put your meal in what seems to be a sturdy brown bag, if you order takeout. The dining area is small and not well-designed for enjoying a nice meal. There were only 3 tables two of them were unstable and wobbled, each with 4 chairs. Then there’s a slim, long window table that can sit 6. And since it’s a short walk from the door to the counter, customers make a beeline right next to you while you eat. You’re better off ordering takeout if you want Mary Brown’s fried chicken. There are two generic restrooms. There’s parking in front.
I went there last night to pick up my order and the food was cold the Nashville taters wasn't fresh the sauce dried up on it. I asked for spicy and got mild. Everything about my order was messed up and I didn't realize it until i got home. I didn't get a receipt either after paying.
I just left Mary Browns where i placed an order for a 3 piece dinner. I asked for spicy chicken and a small gravy. The recipe says the same. Unfortunately I didn’t get my gravy which I was charged for or the spicy chicken. It’s clearly stated on the recipe. Sad service. I was the only person in the outlet.

Food is always good here, but last time I went there was a few communication issues. The man was nice about it, but I never received a receipt in my bag, got the wrong drink, and there was an extra burger. More just inconvenient than really bad. I didn't mind too much.
My entire order was wrong. The Nashville Mary sandwich had mayo on it instead of ranch, I didn’t get dip for my pickle chips and I ordered the chicken tenders but was given a box of mixed pieces of chicken instead. He also didn’t give a receipt so I have no idea what he charged me for. It doesn’t help the guy doesn’t speak any English either, he didn’t understand anything I was saying. Never eating here again.
Definitely better then any KFC.. Not as greasy when it comes down to the actual food which is great. And even better yet.. the gravy is awesome and not gross like most fast food places. !
