Extensive South Indian and Hakka menu featuring traditional and some modern dishes. It was busy when we visited. Host wasn’t able to provide accurate ETA or wait time but did his best to accommodate. Ambiance and atmosphere is average typical of such places. Service was quick, food arrived promptly. Idli was quite hard and didn’t seem fresh. Medu wada on the other hand was really fresh and crisp. From the Dosa we tried I’d recommend Mumbai Masala Dosa and Onion Rava. Mysore Masala lacked any special flavour that one expects. Best part was the Kuttu Paratha. Korma served as accompaniment was decent. Chutneys, raita all good. sambhar was too thick for my preference.
We ordered kesari, parotta kurma, onion chilli utappam, butter dosa roast and filter coffee. Everything tasted nice. No complaints the ambience of the restaurant is good. Its spacious doesn’t get crowded. It brings back all the memories from my hometown Chennai.
Loved the positive vibes of this place. Ordered 3 Masala Dosa's and all were consistent in taste, side chutneys were amazing too ! Portion of Dosa was more than expected compared to Swarna Bhavan and other local food chains. 5 Start rating for everything !! Loved this place and surely will come again if/when I get chance to go that side of city...
Had the best medhu vada ever at Maruthi. Great service. Rava dosa was also delicious. Just wish the sambhar and masala in dosa was less spicy. Hopefully in future they can accommodate less spices in the masala and sambhar. Extra spices can always be added on top for the ones who prefer more. Other than that, everything was great. The seating arrangement is very spacious. The interiors are nice. Would definitely recommend to all South Indian food lovers.
Quality of food - Good. More oily side. can be improved.nPrice - expensive compared to other south Indian Restautant's.nNeatness - clean place.nService - servers were very kind to guide through dishes names.
