Unfortunately, the auto center at this time of writing the review is understaffed. If they give you a time estimate. Double it and decide if you want to stay. They said 3 hours. It's been 6 hours, and I am still waiting on my oil change and muffler check. If you need something quick, I would advise not to go to this location on a weekend.

My experience at this location was less than mediocre. There was no one present at the dept. I was waiting in, I asked 2 reps for the right person and they both pawned it of to another disappearing in the process. So, when I finally got fed up and walked up to the customer service desk, the manager stepped in to help as no one else was there at the moment, hence making my experience somewhat better. Only reason it’s getting 3 stars.

I should give a rating 0 if I don’t get a chance taking to professional GM Paul today. Now I give 4 star to encourage customer oriented attitude. Firstly of all, I tried to return one item here which I bought from a remote Canadian tire store a couple weeks ago. It is full of dust due to long in stock in other store but I didn’t use it all. The new young customer support girl firstly suspect it is be used and then talk to her supervisor. That is all right. Her supervisor, a mid age lady, said they cannot return since they don’t have room for it. I tried to argue Canadian tire is franchise and any store should take item from other store. The mid age lady said different store may have different policy, etc. then gradually she is using “I am telling you” words I don’t feel good at. Then I said “do you mind if I record what you said about the rules & reason you refuse to return?” She said “No”. Then I clicked to record. She became very angry said “you cannot record, I am done with you”. I realize there is misunderstanding she was not saying “no mind” but say no recording. Then I stopped recording and said I would delete it. She is still very angry. I said she can use my phone to completely delete the recording her self. However she seems still very angry and keep saying “I am done with you”. I said that is misunderstanding, we need to keep communication open? She insisted she is done with me as a customer support manager. Then, that young girl begin to copy her behaviour. Saying to customer “I am done with you” is very rude. She obviously has negativity impact on young and less experienced others. The young girl believe “I am done with you” is not rude by copying her. Customer is always right” is the motto for any good customer support. If you defeat your customer & refuse to support, you are not a winner but lose business. She as a manager seems doesn’t understand it. Luckily the GM manager Paul is very professional and view it different. I won’t complain even if he continue to refuse to return. with his leadership, I am confidence this store customer service would greatly improve over time!!! I give 4 star in advance to look forward to a future better customer support here!!!

They dnt serve for kids.. cuz the store is not kids friendly .... I wish I can give them 0 star. Manager Francis April 30, 2023 at 630pm... he said his higher level won't listen to him n askd me to make d complain my self. They dnt hv washroom access from inside. N I had to TK my 3 year had to go all the way out side in this cold weather n heavy rain to use the washroom. This is ridiculous . Y can't just open the gate from inside here .. Canadian Tire why don't close N go home. U don't expect families to come to ur store?. Come on. Seriously. Come on. Think abt people for a second.. n then u can go n make money.

I would like to share my experience I had at McCowan at Sheppard E "Canadian tire" on Mar.1st 2023. I went to change battery to my car key. Mr. Eric, a customer service staff member at automotive department help me really extraordinary. He actually spent his valuable time and make sure I replaced correctly. I was so impressed by his work. I highly recommended any customers you better fine Mr. Eric and ask any help. He will do 100% and you, customers, will get full satisfaction in your concerns. Thank you once again Mr. Eric.

The staff there are all nice, although minimal. The added a kiosk at the entrance where you can search up the exact thing you're looking for and it'll give you the aisle number of where to find it along with the price and other related items. Most things you can check online to see if it's available at the location you plan to visit and the shopping experience is quite fluid.

I had some issue with my online order which I wasn’t able to cancel. Went in person to Canadian Tire twice and made 3 phone calls. I appreciate the manager helping and solved the issue. Only complain is I can no longer use the app to order online stuff even after redownloading the app.

I gave my car in morning today for the installation of winter tires on rim. They said me it will get done within 2 hours. Its evening now, no one is responding my call. They wasted my whole day Why you give contact cards to the customer if you are not able to take calls and respond to the customer. Even the email address provided on the card was wrong. I will never come again to this locatiom and will definitely recommend other people to avoid this location for any kind of service.

Went for a tire change from my winter tires to the seasonal ones on a Wednesday morning. Dropped off the car first thing in the morning at 9 am. I was told the wait time was 2-3 hours and I said it was fine I would just be heading home and waiting there. After no updates for a few hours, I had to call them at 2pm to ask for an update and got recommended some cleaning work done on the headlamps. I asked them how long it was gonna take and they said "not long" My fault for believing them and not clarifying what "not long actually meant" so I agreed. I went to pick up the car at 4:10pm since I really needed it to go pick up my husband after work and was told it needed "at least" another hour. I mentioned that I dropped off the car at 9am this morning and clearly showed me disbelief that the car was not ready yet and was told "the mechanic was working on the car now and it's not just sitting and waiting" but that it was going to need "at least another hour". Likely never coming to Canadian Tire again to use their auto service. Update: It's almost 6pm and there is still no update at all about the car. Been sitting here since 4:20pm
