If you are in an accident, don’t even think about taking it somewhere else, just bring it to Howden Collision for repairs. My Mustang was involved in 2 hit and runs in parking lots thank you Toronto Drivers, and each time I have taken it here to be fixed. Let me break it down for you: 1. Customer Service: Top notch. The front office team are a great group of guys who know what they are talking about. My hit and run repairs were about 7 years apart, and the same team of guys have been there since, so they know the business like the back of their hand. Their knowledge makes them stand out above the others, and they are approachable and talkative like you have known them your whole life. The repair took about 4 days, with their team reaching out to me 2 of the nights to give me a status update on my car, and when it should be ready. They kept me informed that the repair was done and it was primed just awaiting its time in the paint booth. With the parts shortage and everything going on, scheduling is not an easy thing to do, and they executed it very well. 2. The Repair Quality: Each time I have gone there, the paint matching and quality has been perfect. The first hit and run 7 years ago, the person broke my signal light and bumper cover. When they completed the repair, the seams of the body and hood were like showroom, and you would never know it was hit. This week, I took it in for a slight bumper repair and paint, and the guys had everything completed in a matter of days. The painter they have is exceptional, with my 3-stage paint looking better than it did when I bought the car. 3. After Care: Upon picking the car up, I was glad to see they even took the time to wash it most places do this but it is something I don’t expect places to be obligated to do. To my surprise, they even took the time to detail the inside. My girlfriend has a dog, which is in the car often, and he sheds like crazy. When I took it in, I didn’t have time to detail the inside of the car previously, and it had dust, dirt and dog hair all over the place. Their team took a step beyond and cleaned the interior for me when I picked up the car, which may seem like a small thing, but those small things are what makes the difference from a good job to a great job; it shows they really treat the customers and their car with respect like it was their own. Thank you everybody at Howden as always, you guys do a great job over there. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have such a great team who not only knows the business inside and out, but also treats every person that walks through that door as a human being and not just an opportunity to reach their wallet. If you love your car as I love mine, you know it is emotionally shattering to get slammed in an intersection as I did one sunny afternoon in July 2022. The damage was extensive - front wheel, fender, headlight, suspension and grill - all toast. I thought it was a write-off. Daniel at CSN Howden calmly assessed the damage and reassured me that they would restore this car as if it were new. And they did exactly that. It was no easy matter getting the parts for my 2017 Avalon in these days of supply shortage, but they got them and went right to work. 18 days later I got the call. And by God they kept their word. With disbelief I stared at the now restored vehicle. The work was flawless. It was if there had never been an accident at all. I took the car for a road test - 6 hours! - the very next day. These guys were great when my car was sideswiped by a truck this summer. My insurance company said they were “very famous” and I was skeptical about their enthusiasm, but every call I got from CSN Howden was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. The work was completed in exactly the time frame estimated and I can’t say enough about Daniel and his excellent service.

I had to come back in and update my review because of the situation after getting my car back. It went in to Howden for an insurance claim after an accident. The door needed to be replaced and quarters panel needed fixing. When I picked up the car it seems great until I got on the e highway and realized that while physically it looked like the repairs were done, driving on the highway proved otherwise. The car came out with a whistle. I immediately contacted Howden who asked me to go in and have another look. They did that and could not identify the source of the whistling. Clearly something was sealed properly. I contacted them again as well as my insurance company without result. I will say that Howden tried multiple times to identify where the wind was coming in the car they have been unsuccessful. Their customer service is excellent but I just am not confident that they have the skills required. My car did not whistle before my accident. I didn’t not whistle after the accident.
