This place was amazing. Mel the waitress was amazing and a great help with ordering as this was our 1st time with original Costa Rica food. Very good service and do ask questions about the spice as some items are Spicer. Service great ...atmosphere cool and great for a 1st date fellas. Ladies ask for one of those big booths....good to keep a respectable distance but close enough to get that crucial information.... overall great little spot in what is for sure becoming the mpls best kept secret food entertainment zone. Check em out ! You know I don't give these out lightly !

My girlfriend and I was looking for a place to eat, and our friends recommended your place to us. I must say we enjoyed ourselves! The food was very good. Our server Kate was very pleasant and understanding. She helped us understand why you guys have an employee surcharge, which we had no idea you all have that charge. It would have been nice to know about this up front. As a consumer and a person who frequent local dinaries that would be a good thing to know. It would be nice if you guys added that to your menu or even to your website. Again we enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back.

Excellent. It isn’t a place I would normally try but it was a great all around meal. It was a beautiful evening so we sat outside. Out server was friendly and attentive. I got the chipotle burger and my husband got fish tacos. We were both pleased…the French fries aren’t anything special but fine…the entrees are what the place is about. Unique selections in that it’s not just a burger and fry joint and prepared well. The beta part of the meal was our guacamole appetizer. Delicious. We also loved the presentation. For our meal, 2 cokes and an appetizer, it came to $53 before tip.

One of my top 5 favorite spots in the Twin Cities. Food - phenomenal. Ambiance - refreshing. Service - Excellent. Price - considering all things, its a good value. More than I would've liked to have paid. Found it by accident too, so it was a pleasant surprise. One of the few places where I can actually take my vegan friends. The food legitimately tastes better here. Idk if its because of fresher ingredients or the way they prepare it, but even things like sour cream tastes better and the texture is superior. I had the Gallo Pinto, which I was told was the most authentic Costa Rican dish on the menu, along with a side of chicken. Everything tasted great! The fried plantains were my absolute favorite. Chicken was moist, everything had notes of acidity and lime which was great. I'm really excited to come back and try the fancier items on the menu. Not pictured, but we also got the El Morenito for dessert. I was way too excited to eat it and completely forgot to take pictures lol. Service was top notch. Food came out quick, server checked on us pretty regularly. You can see the chefs cook the kitchen is right next to the entrance. I love being able to see your food being prepared fresh and being able to thank the chefs for the wonderful dinner on the way out.

Pura vida! A great spot for a sit down lunch/dinner. We had happy hour appetizers of fried plantains, guacamole, ceviche, and chicharrones. My husband got the casado - rice, beans, pork, cabbage. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much.

Everything was great, besides the food runner serving the food over the table then dropping it and saying “be careful” to me.. very strange. Please serve from behind the guest and make sure they have a grip a half a second is not enough. If it falls on the guest, don’t blame them and walk away. Food was amazing, server was great. Ambiance 100.

I ordered the ceviche which was outstanding. There was a decent size portion the sauce was very tasty and the pieces of fish were plentiful. My friends that were there with me or did a Cubano sandwich and a grain bowl. We were all members of The clean plate club tonight.

It's coming to be one of our favorite places! The atmosphere, the background music, the folks serving and running things.... delightful. Our visits have always produced a warm, cheerful experience. On our last visit I ventured out and tried the Gallo Pinto with added chicken. AMAZING! Highly recommend. The serving at dinner is large enough to provide several lunches later in your week. It's Summer - and that calls for a cocktail. Marna's does not disappoint. Be sure to order the El Puerto - made with tamarindo, a couple rums, a touch of coconut... and of course Mint. Next time you are in Robbinsdale - be sure to stop at Marna's for a great meal. Should you have room for dessert - go for the Tres Leches cake.

We made online reservations for brunch about an hour before we arrived. Upon entering the establishment, we realized that we probably could have walked in without our reservations. We attended brunch about an hour and a half before they switched to regular menu. Our server was friendly and kind with us and even joked a little, which was a welcome experience. Other tables with more in their pay that had sat after us were provided service a little faster than us. After ordering drinks we ordered a serving of Yuca Fritas as my partner was famished. Our mimosas took about 10 minutes to prepare and arrived about 15 minutes before our Fritas. The mimosas were either very sweet or very sour. Luckily my wife and I split the drinks equally as she is more of a sour taster compared to my sweet tooth. By the time the appetizer came, we were almost done with the mimosa flight, which was a bummer. Parking: There is a parking lot beside the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: No ramps needed all flat good for wheelchairs.
