Marlin's

I have not been to Marlins in a very long time due to the lack of quality in service and food. We decided to make a trip tonight for pie and milkshakes. To say the least I am less than impressed. First we asked what kind of pie was available the waiter then told us two options I asked if that was it he snapped back saying we are really busy. I could see the pie from our table knowing they were not the options given...so I said that's all you have? He replies annoyed yes. So I say what's in the case because thatt isn't either of the options you offered. Then he goes and looks and comes back with the other options. So I get the pie I want no problem. Then I try to order my milkshake to which he replied I'm not making a milkshake it's too busy. I'm just not going to make you a milkshake... I just kinda laughed being completely over this whole experience at this point. Please note this was around 830 at night and it was not busy and everyone in the restaurant already had their food etc etc..the server also had plenty of time to chat with a table full of young girls...we are very sorry we expected Jordan to do his job tonight. We paid and took our business to the millstone where we got our milkshakes and phenomenal service!

We loved this place, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and its charming from the yesteryear decor to being served our drinks in a large mason jar glass~The food was good on a cold evening and I enjoyed the local chatter of those who come here to visit each other.. it does smell like diesel in the restaurant, but its not because of fumes from trucks its tramped in by foot on boots I'd venture to say as it is at a truckstop..

I waited for someone to acknowledge I was there. I placed my order and about 15 minutes later the waitress put the order in. Excellent food! Very poor service! I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry.

Poor service, food isn't always good. The last time we were there, the exhaust fans were drawing in diesel fumes. Not a good experience

Great food, awesome service, nice atmosphere. They also have small portions for those like me, with a smaller appetite. Nice to have that option.
