Unbelievable! Worst customer service ive ever witnessed! (Pina)! To start off, two out of three employees were very nice, professional and curtious. So, i was just at marks on my lunch for what was to be a quick exchange. The guy im working with bought a pair of steel toes at the Bolton Mark's less than a week ago. This morning while walking his boots started bubbling around the stitching due to the dew..... which is complete "doodoo" We get to the marks and he starts getting a new pair to a QUICK exchange while we were on lunch, as we are at work and need to he back to work. He didnt have the receipt (on him). 1# the boots are a weekold, 2# we are at work and 3# he doesnt have large enough pockets to file away all his receipts from the last there months... just in case the item he purchase tirns out to be faulty. Ive been in the same situation and the woman simply gave me a credit for the difference.... of what i actually paid. Pina, does the same.... only knowingly gives him less because policy is to give the lowest price the item has been sold for in the last 14 MONTHS? She looled in and told him what the last sale was... the trys to give back less. Refuses to try and search the stores computer in any way.... because it is not a franchise? And a corperate store doesnt habe that tracking ability? If it was bisy in there id see her saying no way but when there was not a single other customer in the store. So, he understandably argues this point, as he paid more than this as the cost, he should be given equal to that amount back. He then has to leave go all the way back to the hotel and get the receipt to be given back the money he spent on what were thought to be quality boots. Upon our return, he presented his receipt and was then verbally lashed by this "marks rep" Pina. To the point i said 'you are a customer service rep and you are being unprofessional and rude' I was then the target of her abrasive, angry toned yelling (by her) while she pointed at me angrily as if i was some sort of child. Im shocked how rudely this woman acted and how unprofessionaly she behaved. This was handled so poorly that i will definately not be buying my boots there anymore. Furthermore, She not only soured my taste for Marks but most likey lost a long time customer, thanks Pina. You can go back to standing behind the counter and talking down to the younger girl like you are the boss. Then storm off when the manager comes over tp handle the situation like a professional.
