We tried to exchange a Christmas gift from my husband's mom. Something about the system being picky and not being able to exchange. That we were going to have to return the money to our credit card not the purchaser's card which I appreciate and then purchase what we wanted. This probably wouldn't be too big of an issue, but our credit cards are in American dollars and every time we use them in Canada, we pay a fee. So to do what they were asking would have caused us to pay 2 fees instead of just one. Where as, most customers wouldn't pay a fee of any kind because their cards are already in Canadian money. Not sure what my husband decided to do, but he mentioned just having his mom return the shirt and his mom would give him money. Not upset persay. We just want anyone paying with foreign currency credit cards to be aware of a possible issue.
TLDR: Make sure to REALLY ask if they have something, or they'll say they don't without checking, as well as pretending to put a military discount on your purchase when requested for some reason? I wasn't being a crazy customer, or being a hassle, so i am very unsure why Awesome kit here, but when I called to ask if they have something in stock they straight up said no without checking despite having the stock. Had to call twice because I just saw the item 10 minutes to closing the night before, and the website still said limited stock. I recalled and asked them to actually check and they had several pairs, so I Walked my s.s. over because road conditions were too dangerous. While paying for a non discounted item, I asked for a military discount and they pulled out the book and everything, but didn't put the discount in. Overall felt like an undeserved middle finger when i'm just trying to grab a gift for Christmas.
Thanks Chloe for telling my son the boots he wanted where not in-stock when in fact they actually where when we drove down ourselves and looked. Also thanks for pretending to use his military discount on our purchase just so you could go home no discount on receipt lol enjoy your holidays
Despite being very busy, the staff were knowledgeable & helpful! I got what I came for & left with much more because of the Black Friday sales!
Went in tonight with my two children in tow to search for shoes fitting my 13 year olds leg braces. A lady named Janet helped us out. She was kind, thoughtful, patient, and empathetic. She told me what he needed, she found it, and she taught me how to do it because she said she couldn't let me go home with shoes we couldn't do ourselves. Above and beyond customer service.
My husband and I went in looking for boots while I checked sweaters for myself. My husband tried on 6 different pairs and not once were either of us approached for assistance. We finally left without any purchases. Disappointing.
Walked in to get a pair of shoes to find the lady stocking the shelves and cleaning up. She happily stopped and helped me find exactly what I needed. My interaction with the cashier was equally as plesent ensuring I had everything I was looking for; as well as plesent conversation while ringing me through
I like this store, lots of stock usually. Just wish they would stop asking people for their email, as we cash out. I shouldn't have to give my email address in order to obtain a receipt. Knowing, that's not why they're really asking. Its promotion related. Be forever spammed.
Fast and polite service! Were able to find exactly what we were looking for, and we're able to return the boots that didn't work or fit right. We were in and out in twenty some minutes and everything was handled with grace and speed. Thank you so much to the amazing people working there, and for the fabulous service!
Busier than expected which is good and with decent customer service. They have a very large variety and matching quantities that you should have no issues finding what you need.
