Another Google find. The brisket was delicious, the ribs had plenty of meat on them but were a little cold, the pulled pork was not fatty and the sausage had a great clean taste. The two sauces complemented each other. My wife had the red potato salad and Mac & Cheese. The place has an indoor picnic feel to it. The staff seemed very pleasant and they provide a military discount which I always appreciate.
Pulled pork - very very good, its a little on the greasy side, but don't let that put you off. It only adds to the flavor Brisket - also very good, ask for sauce though Maple bourbon BBQ sauce - unique, good sauce. Gotta have the maple in vt! Crack sauce - the name does it justice, be careful or you might develop a problem. The best choice for southern BBQ in Vermont, very reasonably priced. Photo of 1lb of pulled pork - $12
The meat was delicious. Burnt Ends with fat that just melts. The Mac and cheese on the other hand was flavorless. Looked like Kraft but not even as good as Kraft. Had no pork belly, cowboy beans or hush puppies when I went. Will definitely try again because the meat was great and staff was friendly
These guys always knock it out of the park and have mastered barbecue to-go. Yesterday was more of a quick snack variety pick-up, rather than a more formal meal, but still very delicious. Great food, genuinely nice owner and crew - I just wish the location was closer to my home!
Look man [he said in the most politically correct way] - I’m a Missouri native with a heart in the shape of Vermont. Having that show-me-state blood flowing through my veins, can only mean that I’ve walked the bbq streets of gold known as Kansas City. Some of the best of the best are making their smoke clouds known in that wonderful place. Having said that, my midwestern hunger started getting the best of me recently; which led me to visit the amazing establishment known as Mark’s BBQ…. And let me tell you!! I finished that brisket sandwich faster than ol’ Becky finished me behind the bleachers in 7th grade back in 94. I was the 2 Pump Chomp of brisket eating. This place is fantastic!! Do NOT miss your opportunity to encounter its amazingness. It’s worth the time, the drive, the effort and the money. Marks BBQ! Getcha some, you A**hole
Tried a little of each meat, and everything was great. And oh my goodness the smoked brisket mac n cheese nachos were fantastic. Nachos were assembled when we picked them up to prevent soggy chips, which is a detail they get extra points for in my book. Note: if you’re doing takeout, ask for sauce. Some of the meat was a little dry so I wish I knew to ask for it.
I ordered Mark's BBQ for my husband's birthday and we absolutely loved it! It was so delicious and we will definitely order again in the future!
We recently had visitors to our company and Mark's BBQ was catered for everyone. There was pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and Cornbread. There was tons of food and everything tasted great. Mark's BBQ catering is 10/10. Highly recommend.
This is hands down, the best, pulled pork, mac n cheese, and BBQ sauce ive ever had. Separately theyre mouth watering but all together might as well be a religious experience. And as a vet myself, I never miss the opportunity to support a fellow serviceman. I feel like I owe myself an honest apology for not having tried this sooner. Edit/my wife DID order the food from the website and it happened to be for heart and soul which Mbbq owns, the gentleman at the window quickly got my order corrected. If i could give 6 stars I would.
Amazing place to eat. If your from Texas and like good Brisket, stop here! Hell if you want good brisket stop here! Stop reading and get brisket here now!
