Mario Shoe Repair

Excellent service. I live in Toronto. Yes there are shoe repair services in Toronto. But Mr Mario is something special. His customer service is worth the trip.

He does very good job when he agrees to repair. You have to talk to him nicely.

I asked him how much to replace a zipper on my briefcase. He said it depends. When he saw that it was an Italian satchel, he said "80$". I asked him "why so expensive". He said "how much is the bag worth". Basically he charges based on the value of the item rather than the actual work. Rip off. I went elsewhere and they charged me $35.

Excellent for the repair of shoes and leather goods. Very good service.

Yikes. They are rude on the phone and hang-up on you while you try and obtain a repair estimate. Can't comment on the quality of their work, but given their attitude towards new customers I'm glad they made the decision for me.

this man is cruel. i brought in my old backpack from college which has massive sentimental value and he told me to throw it in the trash and buy a new one. To make it worse, he had said the day before that he repairs all backpacks! What a garbage person!

Rude. Refused to take my boots he estimated the other day would cost around $25 to repair. Asked $100 once I brought them the morning to his store, obviously angry at the snow and the traffic.
