My mom and I heard about how good this place was from someone clear across Montana while we were on a long motorcycle trip. So we made a detour on our way up to Glacier. The food was great, the hot Italian sausage had a lot of flavor and heat, and the lamb shank I got just fell off the bone and had tons of flavor from the sauce. Afterwards we tried their eclairs and the crust was super light and fluffy. The whole time our waitress Aimee took great care of us. She was super friendly and gave awesome recommendations. She made the restaurant really have a home cooked Italian kind of feel.
Food was incredible and service was great. I was shocked to find authentic Italian cuisine in the small town of Stevensville. Already made reservations to go again with friends.
I called and asked if they could do gluten-free and was told there were some options. We made a reservation, waited, went there. It's a long drive so we got dressed up and made a big night out of it. We went in and looked at the menu and I asked what could be made gluten free. They basically laughed at me. They said this is a pasta shop! We don't do gluten-free! The lady said, usually people who want gluten-free call ahead. I said that I had. I said, you don't carry any kind of gluten-free pasta at all? Or anything else gluten free? They just looked at me. It was humiliating and totally uncomfortable. We got up and walked out. What the heck?? It was just an awful experience. I couldn't believe they wouldn't even like suggest a salad or something. They couldn't have cared less about us. Made me feel like some kind of freak. Weren't nice about it. I am also Italian and have been pretty excited about having a good Italian place we could go to. This is literally the only Italian place I have ever been to that refuses to accommodate gluten-free in any way. Anywhere else can offer a different kind of pasta, a different kind of flower, chicken with no breading on it, or replacing the pasta with some broccoli or something at least. And I'm sure they could have easily done something that would've worked. An antipasto? They just couldn't have cared less.
Marie’s has a great chef and very pleasant staff. Highly recommend going if you have never been.
A hidden gem in Montana! Rich, flavorful Italian food. We love visiting this family-run business in the Bitterroot. We wish they had a bigger space with more staff so we could eat here more often without a reservation!
Great family Italian restaurant! Everything is fresh and varies slightly each day. I loved the sampler dinner! Desert choices were amazing too. Reservations are highly recommended. Very friendly and attentive staff. We'll be back soon.

My favorite restaurant! Every time that we've been there, the food & the waitress were wonderful.
I get here at 7:30 PM restaurant closes at 8:00. The sign says open. By the time I get parked, they close.
This family run restaurant hiding just off of Hwy 93 outside of Stevensville is a tasty gem. We had a wonderful meal here with bread, appetizers, main courses and dessert. It was all amazing. Small and casual, with excellent customer service and great attention to fantastic food. I highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant.
