I stopped in to Maria's for a quick lunch while running errands. The service was fantastic! So friendly and attentive, food was amazing. It's hard to find a place that still uses real, hand sliced turkey in their sandwiches. Very reasonably priced. Club house sandwich, fries with gravy, and a coffee with several refills for less than $14. I've lived in the neighbourhood for 2 decades and i'm so sad i didn't discover this place sooner. If you're looking for excelent diner food and great service you need to check out Maria's. Your money is much better spent here, at this small business, than any chain/franchise around.

Great service, great food every time! What more can you ask from a budget Diner? NOTE: This business is struggling, nobody orders take out from here, please support local by ordering to go, local business needs your support! This place has been run by a single person for 15 years, she is always a pleasure, please support this small business.

Looking for a real Albertan Breakfast   morning!! Less than 20 bones to feed two full grown adults, amazing quality, well prepared. It’s called Maria’s, but the lady running the show, her names May! Lol just like the month

The food was wonderful and the prices amazing. Just don't expect an elegant atmosphere cause it's very plain.

Food was excellent, and couldnt believe how cheap the prices were ! Love the old, home style inside the restraunt as well. Will definitely be back!

BEST GREASY SPOON GOING! If you're looking for all day breakfast at a very reasonable price Maria's is the place!  Still wearing your coveralls? Come on in! Just got out of bed and wearing your pj's? You'll fit right in! If you're looking for a healthy sized greasy old fashioned bacon and eggs breakfast, this is the place to be. Cheap cheap cheap! And the owner works her butt of to please.

It's been several years since I was last here yet everything was just as good as I remembered.  Still a great place for Ukrainian style Pierogies et'al, but today I went with fresh coffee and the all day breakfast.

A great place for breakfast. Inexpensive, amazing food and wonderfully kind server. Highly recommended for breakfast, can’t wait to back for lunch and supper.

It pains me to write this, as the service was welcoming and I really like supporting small business. The good:. Very friendly and welcoming and large portions.  The bad: there was no ambiance. No music just silence. The meal tasted like it had been cooked in rancid oil, it tasted horrible. I had the Ukranian meal.  The sausage was over cooked and dry and everything tasted rancid my partner had the chicken burger, it tasted freezer burned but the child and gravy were ok, overall the food had no flavor aside from the rancid taste. The place was clean and like I said friendly.  Some small tweaks and it would have great potential. I really hope they can pull it together and not become a statistic.
