Story

Mari's Japanese Cuisine moved to different locations through out the years. In 2003 we were moved to what was the former White Cupboard Cafe in Schenectady from the City of Schenectady, and began renovations on our current location. In August of 2003 renovations were finally complete, and Mari's moved to our current location. Wherever and whenever you originally found us - whether on River Road, in Burnt Hills, or here on Schenectady's North side - we're so glad you did.

Great place for delicious japanese food. Great hospitality. This place has a good atmosphere.
I was just visiting with my girlfriend, she told me about this place. So why not, let me give a shot. Which I did and it was so amazing and the food as well. It’s not that expensive, you get big meal for good price. I had the spicy Ramon and it okay spicy but the food was so good.
When my go-to place wouldn't answer my calls for takeout, I decided to give this place a try, and I'll definitely be going back! The service is quick and friendly, and the spider roll I ordered was great and the prices are very reasonable!
Lovely little Japanese restaurant with very authentic tastes.
People are nice. Food not so great. Gyoza soggy. Chicken teriyaki horrible - minimal sauce and poor quality chicken. Couldn’t eat half the pieces. Sushi rolls were decent. Would not recommend venturing outside of sushi.
Great, fresh food! Sooo good! Service was outstanding! Totally enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely go back.
