I come here primarily for the fish. Seafood has never been cheap and the post-Covid economy hasn’t helped. This place is a pescatarian’s dream, cheap, efficient, and offers a large selection of; crabs, squid, eels, shark and even snails. This place also offers a hot food takeout counter. What really amazed me was the small Latin aisle. I’ve spent ages looking for Mote! My one word of advice would be to go on a weekday if possible. This place is a palace of products. If you really want to enjoy and take in the array of options I’d strongly recommended not visiting during the weekend, when most families do their weekly shopping.
I love this place! Fresh fruits, incredible variety of products. For me, to come here is a cultural event!
Good store. Especially for fresh vegetables
Located inside Cote des neiges mall. The food is not always the best price but for its location and convenience in access and parking, I do come here quite often. It has many produces from China and South Asia which is great when you cannot did. Specific ingredients , most likely they would have it here. Fresh fish and meat counter at the back of the market. Out front, there is a ready food take out counter with roast counter with roast chicken and ducks. Personally I do not find the ready food good value as I am used to C &T market in Saint- Laurent. But in a pinch, it is fine …. smaller portion and not as fresh cooked dishes compare to other places. Make sure you pay attention to dishes on sale as it may not be very fresh at times. Ask for next batch if you can. Finally, convenience and free parking sometimes is what we need at the end of the day.
Great grocery store. There is a parking lot so that's a big bonus. It's big and clean and well spaced out. Not a small dingy grocery store. Good variety of food. Fresh produce, fresh meat, fresh seafood, some cookware, lots of varieties of instant noodles. I'm knocking down a star Because of the excess packaging. I know it's out of convenience and all, but I find in 2020 that's unacceptable.
Pretty good store, best thing to buy in here is vegetables, the meats are also cheap but very fatty, they got a lot of useful stuff and u got here pretty often to buy vegetables, rice, and cooking stuff, Ramen is a big selection too. Some stuff are just better and cheaper at wallmart, I would say like a 50% and stuff is cheaper here
Huge variety of Asian foods. Many vegetables are available here which can`t be easily found at other stores here in Montreal. They have also some good Japanese items available here…Excellent !! I have seen some of their staffs cashiers rudely responding to customers couple of times. They need to improve that.
They are currently doing renovations. Love their fish room, fresh live blue crabs. Great ramen selections, good frozen seafood selections, their veggies more overpriced than Kim Phats and less selection than Kim Phats but good and fresh otherwise. A lot of imported stuff from south america and some carribean products. Priced not too bad considering it was 51$ for jiangjiang fire noodles, frozen abalone, small shrimps, quail eggs, nori sheets, rice vinegar, sprouts, carrots, tofu and a ramune.
Love their range of products and their fresh /live seafood room. Dissapointed in one brand of their pork dumplings with corn in it that tasted like metal. Otherwise great selections of asian products and oddly some south american imported and carribean products as well which was VERY out of place for an asian store. This place has nothing on Kim Phats.
Lots of great food products to purchase here, we mostly buy our supply of vegetables here and their mango in summer time is the best in town! Their chicken, fish and meat are also fresh and good. It’s inside the plaza and easy access. Only issue is that they don’t allow you to take their trolleys out of their store.
