Stop in here and had a great experience. I know some of the other reviews were not that great on Google reference this location. But that was not my experience. There was only one or two people ahead of us, so we got in within a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and polite, all wearing masks. The ice cream making process was explained and easy-to-follow. And the end result was quite delicious. I would return again and highly likely will.

Incredible! We stopped by on the hottest day of the year so far and got some ice cream. Short wait, kind staff, available seats, and air conditioning. The coconut is amazing - I definitely recommend it. The watermelon gave some bubble gum vibes that I really enjoyed as well.

Ordered a $50 photo cake for a birthday celebration and the whole process was a disaster. Weird emails and calls from the store over 3 days questioning what I'd ordered and the photo file. Then when I picked it up today, it was a completely different cake. No photo to be found! The employee read the receipt and agreed that it was supposed to be a photo cake and had to text their manager for directions on how to handle the situation. I was offered a full refund by e-transfer, which I received like 10 hours later at 1030pm that evening. I would love an explanation as to why the store contacted me so many times about my photo file and cake if they had no intention of preparing it properly. Throughout the process, I asked 3x to have a manager contact me and was told no, and that employees can only contact them by text. This whole thing is sketchy and puzzling.

We have had the worst experience, it was our first time buying from this store so my husband went in and bought a ready cake it had all sprinkles over it. Nothing on the packaging nor the name shows that it’s stuffed with anything since it’s an ice cream cake. It was for my daughter’s birthday and we do not consume gelatine. When we cut the cake all the gummies came out from the centre of the cake, the birthday was ruined and no one was able to have cake. My daughter was heartbroken! We called them to tell them that we didn’t expect gummies in the ice cream cake. The answer was you should’ve asked! How are we supposed to ask about something we don’t see? It looks like a typical ice cream cake with sprinkles on it how would we know that it had gummies inside. Long story short our 50$ went to trash they didn’t accommodate and my daughter’s birthday was ruined thank you marble slab you did horrible!

The ice cream is good but why on God’s green earth would you schedule only one employee on a Friday night? The employee is doing their best, this is not on them

First and last time purchasing a birthday cake here. Didn't get a cake resembling the picture or description at all, and the manager/cake maker was useless and not at all helpful on the phone. Ordered the White Chocolate Raspberry Cake pictured below from their website, received this cheap imitation with no raspberries lining it, no almonds around it, and the wrong colored icing. They give you 3 icing colors when ordering online, I chose white - I got tacky blue on a red and white cake. Online description: "Fresh raspberries and creamy caramel combine with vanilla whip and slivered almonds over our decadent White Chocolate ice cream cake.". CLEARLY not what I received. The nice young employee who was by herself there on a Saturday tried to call and text a manager/supervisor when I told her this isn't what the cake is supposed to look like - nobody answered. So I was already on my way to my mom's birthday, I took this meh cake. Next day the manager/cake maker calls me and shouts over the phone for 8 minutes how the cake was correct. Clearly not. And he shouts how he only will give me a refund for a future cake, completely doing nothing about THIS cake and incident. Why would I return here when a no-bake birthday cake is screwed up so badly? Passing off poor-quality imitations of the cakes online, a classic bait-and-switch. Save yourself time, money and a headache and just purchase from a real bakery or Dairy Queen!

We went on a Saturday. A beautiful hot Saturday, and the service was outstanding. This has been the best ice cream I have ever tasted in my life. They make all ice cream in house, and they blend whatever ingredients you wish to have with your ice cream flavor right in front of you and serve it to you in a waffle cone or bowl or however you prefer. Prices are very reasonable if you consider the wholesome and natural ingredients that are used in making their ice cream. They also offer a large selection of frozen pre-made ice cream cakes, again using all ice cream produced in house. Prices for their cakes are less than the ultra processed DQ. The Butter Pecan ice cream is the best I have ever had. We sampled quite a few flavors with their little sample spoon portions. Every single flavor was delicious and it just made our choices all the more difficult. Parking can be an issue however it is located in such a picturesque and trendy neighborhood that we recommend you park on a side street and take a nice stroll. A definite must visit. #localguide

TLDR: 1. Mouldy sauce Ottawa public health investigated and has stressed to shop on the importance of ensuring food safety 2. Multiple attempts to get a refund nearly 2 weeks 3. Manager, Ly, dodges contact unless head office rings her up 4. Told to drop off cake in order for her to consider refund. Surprise, no call back. 5. Manager finally rings back after another email and offers cake despite poor customer service and initial agreement to refund 6. Sent proof of purchase. Money is finally refunded This review may appear harsh in light of a pandemic though I believe I have been patient, cordial, and understanding. I loved my experiences in Toronto and my sister wanted to support a local shop. Based on the reviews on multiple platforms, service and management has been 1 star for many. My experience has been unsatisfactory and unprofessional. They didn’t have the ingredients for our custom cake but my main issue is to do with mould and the treatment afterwards. The fudge sauce tasted sour blue cheese according to the birthday girl before running to the bathroom. I had cramping all evening. Ottawa Public Healthy and Safety deduced that it was mould, though the contamination could have occurred during the manufacturing process. Always report issues with food immediately. It was too late for them to test the sample I kept. Had the manager offered a new cake immediately, I would have accepted in lieu of a refund. Food safety should never be taken lightly. It should have been reported to head office or their manufacturer in attempts to prevent future incidents. The manager’s communication and management skills leave much to be desired. I called twice over the weekend because she told her employee that she would return my calls right away. I emailed head office days later for a refund before she finally called. I was surprised that I had to drop off the cake for her to taste in order for her to consider a refund. Another weekend gone and I emailed head office again to convey my disappointment. Clearly she never intends to return any calls unless prompted by head office. She said that she had her staff throw out the cake. She then offered a new cake but that was no longer appealing after the hoops I went through. In the end, I got my refund after sending her proof of purchase. What should have been a sweet birthday celebration ended literally on a sour, rotten note.

Placed an order one month ahead IN person. Found out at the day of, they didn’t make the cake. They sent me to a different location to check MYSELF! No cake could be found. I am ok without a special cake but not the birthday kid ….. so … lesson learned … never again !
