You cannot get any better than this. Marisca provides the ultimate bed and breakfast experience. You'll never want to stay at a hotel again. I don't. Take advantage of every aspect of the house and your room. The roof patio is perfect for lounging and unwinding. The same can be said for your claw foot tub. The bed was perfect. We stayed in the Chandler Suite. Breakfast is wonderful. I have a dietary restriction and she went out and bought the only type of flour I can eat so that she could make me a biscuit for breakfast. Then she gave me a full bag to go. Along with a little pit of rhubarb jam. They were delicious. She is an amazing host and it was lovely to meet Cassie and Winston. Don't think twice, make a reservation and spend an extra day relaxing in her gorgeous house.
Gorgeous and beautifully restored! Welcoming and warm! Hosts are wonderful and their little dog Winston is the perfect gentleman. I would give this a higher rating if I could! Very clean, and hosts go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable with many treats! There is a perfect roof top patio overlooking the hills and scenic view. Best bnb I’ve ever stayed at.
Marisa and Jeff haven’t left one detail to chance. The renovated historic home has been brought back to its majestic beauty with a touch of upgraded luxuries. The breakfast was perfect, served on china dishes. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay.
I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway in a beautiful small town! Marisca and Jeff were outstanding hosts; their hospitality began even before we checked in, with recommendations of beautiful spots to visit nearby. The house is a gorgeous older home full of character with beautiful upgrades, and is spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are fully renovated and spa-like! The breakfasts were phenomenal each morning. And Winston the mini/toy poodle and Cassie a gorgeous kitty add to the friendly comfort of the home. We will definitely go back!
Amazing hosts with incredible attention to detail. Beautiful rooms in a heritage house with stunning ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.Rooms: 5/5
Awesome, great place to stay. Would stay again for longer when my travels take me back here. Loved the room and the newly spacious renovated bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, chatted with other couples.
This is a wonderful place to stay and the hosts are so kind. The food was wonderful, the accommodations were superb and this was a great place to rest and relax.Rooms: 5/5
This place is the reason for me to never want to go a hotel or motel again. Incredible place and people. Jeff and Marisca are some of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Marisca is an incredible hostess and unreal cook. She always had fresh cookies in our rooms and speaking of rooms...WOW .Super comfortable rooms and the ensuite washrooms were the size of a bedroom with every modern convenience available. Hell, they even had a keurig in every bedroom with a mini fridge, fresh cream, water, muffins. This place was built in 1858 and though it has been remodled, they also kept it very original and nostalgic. This is a bed and breakfast but because we were there for the Thanksgiving weekend, Marisca and Jeff invited us to have Thanksgiving dinner with them and man o man what a feast. My fiance's son plays football for Mount Allison University and was invited for breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner as well and made him and us feel like family. I didn't want to leave. If you are ever visiting Sackville and need a place to stay, you owe it to yourself to check this awesome place out. You won't regret it. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat.
Beautiful! Old school charm with modern style. We were so comfortable and the hosts were excellent. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!Rooms: 5/5
I can't recommend this place enough! The house is recently renovated and beautifully decorated. The rooms are really cute, and the extra bonuses like a stocked Keurig in the room and a claw-footed tub in the bathroom are all wonderful touches. But what really makes this place stand out beyond the wonderful welcome provided by their dog, Winston! are the owners. Marisca and Jeff did everything they could to make us feel welcomed and taken care of - from leaving fresh muffins in the room when we arrived to making sure all the food provided worked with my friend's food allergies. And when we had to leave at 4:30 in the morning to catch the ferry, Marisca woke up and made sure there was a delicious fresh-cooked candlelit breakfast waiting for us before we left - at 4 in the morning! We're already trying to figure out whether we'll be able to stay here again on our way back next month. Highly, highly recommended.
