Our bakery first opened its doors in September of 1960! Over 50 years later, Maple City Bakery continues to provide quality and service to the residents of Chatham and surrounding areas. Thank you to all of our customers who support us!

Story

Established in September 1960, 2010 marks 50 years of Quality & Service provided by Maple City Bakery to the residents of Chatham & surrounding Kent County. It is with great pride and the utmost respect that we thank all of our customers for allowing us daily into their homes, restaurants and schools with our various freshly made offerings.

From our humble beginnings on Emma Street to our current home at 361 Grand Ave. West we have operated under the following promise: Always make the product fresh, get it to our customers in a timely & efficient manner and of course, it’s gotta taste great. That’s why since the beginning, all of our production is produced at night to ensure it is as fresh as possible for the following day’s in-store and wholesale customers.

So whether it’s bread or rolls, pastry, pies, cakes or any one of our over 200 made fresh daily products, you can have confidence in Maple City Bakery. If you’re a regular customer, thank you for that trust, we will continually work our hardest to maintain it.
