Mano Cornuto

My wife and I ate here a few weeks ago. It was well worth the wait. We had outstanding service at the bar and some great food. The highlight for me was the whole fish with Italian broccoli. Lots of great wine and conversation with the bartender and other guests. Loved it.

What an amazing Place. We went to this restaurant looking for Italian food. The Waiter was very friendly and was helpful deciding the different wine and beer sections. The food was great as well, portions were a little on the small side however. The place was full so making a reservation is recommended. Overall solid eat, and would recommend to everyone.

Yes and yes. Finally found my little Italian place where I can eat a simple pasta. I had the bolognese and the pasta of the day blue cheese base. Service was genuinely friendly. Waitress was not trying to oversell but advice us well based on our needs. We happened to see the place while doing a bike ride. At noon on a Saturday, we were just looking for a coffee as it was freezing outside. But we wanted to try the food so we went at it. So glad we did. This is now my top place for causal Italian meal. Prices are reasonable. And by the way the best Caesar’s salad I had. Atmosphere was a mix of foodies/ tourists and local/regulars. The owners are there and care about the place. They make the pasta on site. Staff is young and seemed to enjoy working there. We did not have wine but there seemed to have excellent choices. Desert: we tried the pistachio tart. So well done. Yes this is a good place. I recommend.

The service here top notch, waiters are all very friendly! The food is delicious but the bone marrow risotto dish was a little bit underwhelming. I really recommend getting more appetizers such as the burrata and the sea bass. The place is very small and very busy even on Monday’s so be prepared to wait. I do recommend giving this place a try!

Maybe just went on a bad night but the service was off we were literally forgotten at one point for about 50 minutes and the food didn’t justify the small menu that night, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. The atmosphere was too loud, couldn’t have a normal conversation and we went on a Wednesday night, can’t imagine going on a Friday or Saturday. Oh and to top it off: when I called to try to make reservations she spoke to me like I was stupid, yelling;”if you look at our social media and everywhere you would see we don’t make reservations” and hung up on me :. but it literally says “no reservations, no exceptions” which I’m sure 99% of people take it as if you don’t have a reservation we won’t make an exception.

We stopped in for a late lunch and were blown away by the whole experience. The dishes we had were amazing, high quality ingredients exceptionally prepared. The effervescent gin and tonic is one of the best cocktails I've ever had. The mix between the citrus, effervescence, and the slight saltiness from the olive was a truly intoxicating combination. The staff was friendly and welcoming. If you find yourself in Montreal you do not want to miss Mano Cornuto! Do yourself a favor and stop by for some amazing food and a couple of cocktails!

Lovely place, the inside is very stylish, same for the waiters and waitresses but the food was definitely far too saltyprobably to make you drink more , and the portions were very underwhelming for the price. It's not pricey but it's just not worth it. But presentation was very on point both for the food and general decor. The music choice was decent too. Side note the sandwich had a very interesting combination of sweet and salty, so that was decent.

This is an amazing spot with really great energy. Looks like they have a cute patio which appeared to be dog friendly. We had dinner here on our last night in Montreal. It was a Sunday evening and they had a set menu. The food was fantastic, the service even better. In fact, this is the best service we had at any establishment during our whole trip to Montreal. Overall good value for the set menu Sunday nights. Highly recommend, will definitely return next time I'm in Montreal!

Last day in Montreal and a perfect way to complete the break… the food was amazing. Sitting at the bar watching the coordination of this well oiled restaurant was astonishing. Thank you guys for an unforgettable evening.

The atmosphere here was right! Seeing the chef making food in front of me was a pleasure and interesting experience My only complaint was the food portion wasn’t so big, but considering everything seemed to be handmade and food was served quick it’s not that big of deal for me.
