Good luck nn————-nnIN- PERSON VISIT WILL HELP ! DO NOT APPLY ONLINEnnUPDATED 1: 5 DECnnTHEY WONT GIVE YOU THE CARD ON SITE anymore ; it will be sent home after 4-6 weeks. You come in person to submit your immigration papers and Go Home !nn——————-nnFinally I got my heath card by coming in person after submitting online by email for 3 months . Do not wait anymore if you have submitted online. It will take too long.nnThe office is open from 8:30-4:30pm weekdays . From noon onward the wait time is less and less but you may be cut off from getting in line so I suggest that you go early and willing to wait for around 2-3 hours.nnThe required documents include but not limited to :n1 your work permit/ study permitn2 your rental leasenIf you cannot provide the rental lease , provide any 2 of the following : check more on their website- Manitoba health cardn- DRIVING LICENSEn- Gas / utility billsnn3 their registration form download online and fill and signed . Noted that there are two kinds : E- registration and in-person form. Download and use the in- person one.nnIMPORTANT : if your husband / wife/ spouse is applying with you and your are the Primary applicant, you need your Marriage Certificate!!!nnEven if your spouse is a Visitor/ holding a visitor Visa , they can be covered for 6 months if you can provide their Air Flight ticket and itinerary plans showing the dates they arrived.nnTHE PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOW:nnYou may have to line up OUTSIDE the ROOM if CROWED.nA SECURITY GUARD may guide you when you first enter the roomnnYou come to the first Person to tell him your purpose: GETTING new HEALTH CARD or updating it Do online is suggestednn To extend your card , with your new immigrant status deadline , Fax or Mail, NO Online service for this request !!!nnHe will check your required documents- If Ok , then you will get your waiting number slip.nThen you wait till called upon.nThey will photocopy your original document and then return it to you.n------------------------nThe service is quick and friendly as long as you prepare the requirements you are good to go in one attempt.nnThe parking lots are around the building or on the streets ,maximum 2 hours $11 , but you can always extend it if you paid by the app on your phone.nnThank you Manitoba heath for a quick service and wonderful experience.!!nnThank you for reading till now. System is flawed!! You wait for a person to answer then they put you through to another queue which is no less then an hour wait. You provide your change, you tell them a number of timesn& although the new card arrived quick, the change has not happened on new card. So you call again and you wait to be transferred and then you wait another hour, you provide the change again then they tell you they need to pass you on again, then the recording says we are full and the system hangs up on you.............

Worst experience!nGo to some other place trust me that would same your time!nWaiting from last 3 hours didn’t get a chance yet.nThey should hire more manforce and get this shit resolved.nThere’s more than 50-70 people in total standing in queue and waiting here but there’re only 4 people helping out!nFun fact it’s the only office in the whole Winnipeg.nnGovernment should at least hire some people.

If I can give 0 I will for sure do.nnSubmit all the documents for claims of last year, still hear nothing back. Called probably 4 times, each time wait for 2 hours, still can’t give me my money back. Said manager will be following up, but everytime call manager’s number no one pick up the phone, left messages, no one call back. I sure don’t understand why do I pay tax for this kind of service.

Efficient service, I paid street parking for an hour but health center did my work in flat 25 minutes. New card registration. Liked the way they attended each individual.
