This was my first time in the new building. It is a great improvement over the old building. It is well laid out and easy to navigate. The doctor I visited was amazing. My only complaint is the lack of enforcement of the heath protocols in a medical establishment. A man and his wife were in front of me in the elevator line without masks. The young man supervising the elevators asked him politely to go get masks from the front desk. After a rant with a few expletives describing the work ethic of the front desk workers he outright refused to get masks. He and his wife then proceeded to get into the elevator with a group of masked people. I realize security was trying to avoid a confrontation but the rules are there for a reason. They are there to protect everyone with no exceptions!!!!!!
I have no problem with Dr. Stronger. However his receptionist Cecelia needs to go on a course on how to talk properly to patients or be let go. I have another appointment booked for Dec. 15th and I am actually dreading having to even deal with her. I called twice as I doubled booked an appointment the 1st time and the second time I had to cancel due to having Covid. I made the mistake of saying my appointment was one day ahead the second time and she was so rude when we finally did talk as I received a letter in bold print to call back ASAP as I missed my appointment, well if you could actually talk to the staff we could have sorted it out before hand. There was no need when we did speak that she had to be as curt and condescending when we rescheduled. As much as I should be seeing a cardiologist because of her I am thinking of telling Dr. Stronger that this will be my last appointment with him due to her. Also the clinic needs to change their policy of you not being able to talk to anyone under certain circumstances, especially when you are really sick. Just read what Vee Tait wrote I am not the only one and I am sure there are others who have had the joy of dealing with her. Those in charge talk to her and teach her how to be a professional or leave your job, if you hate it that much.
coming here for everything pregnancy and newborn related has been a really great experience! Dr. Isaby and her receptionist have been amazing and caring! I was always looking forward to each visit :
I am currently having excellent service...by all who work here at his office...prompt..polite...professional and especially from Dr Manusow too....he is quick with his work and also very gentle and professional...I can ask him any questions or even his staff .... they inform you on what they're doing ....whether it's applying drops to eye or tests they do before the injections....they quickly and professionally do their work... ...kudos to this this office! I will be continuing my treatments here for an indefinite amount of time..I don't dread going to have my injections! Keep up the good work!!!
Dr Kanjee is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. His assistant Joanne on the other hand is condescending, nasty, interrupts you when you're speaking and scratched my cornea with her pressure device and tried to blame me. This is the third time she's been obviously miserable and rude. This assistant is making me want to switch specialist. If you go, recommend seeing a different pre-screening nurse.
Parking is expensive. Elevator is super slow and usually has long lines. Wish parkade was better attached somehow. Miss the old building which was much easier to navigate
It has good family physician. Dr. Mayba is very good. Also, it has lab so tests can be done at the same place.
Great physicians, long waits. Parking is expensive. 3.75 per hour $5 for two hours. I would go for the 2, getting to your appointment can be problematic as the elevators are always filled and when broken times escalate.
clean and tidy, lots of waiting areas with up to date magazines . Auto blinds for when the sun Is streaming through let’s face it we all need the sun in winter good views of Winnipeg . See photo. Patient Friendly smiling staff who are keen to help alleviate those that are nervous only issue is parking in the arcade next door makes it fairly expensive to be sick. Free parking at a casino but getting sick costs you.!!!
Dr. Drexler is nice but his receptionist was rude. We called 2 days before to cancel an appointment due to medical emergency and the way she talked to us was unacceptable.
