Mandarin Restaurant - North York

Pretty convenient location, it is wheelchair accessible, and the servers are pretty cool. It is pretty much as advertised, buffet. New changes are in place, not every location offer buffet every day so I suggest you call ahead for whichever location you’re going to. The food was pretty good too. Sadly, their camera wasn’t working for their iconic birthday photos but it’s quite nice to see the amount of people going to Mandarin for birthdays. By the way, your birthday meal is free as long as you sign up online before your birthday visit and you take three paying adults with you.

Sean and Sharon were great! They always checked up on us and refilled our drinks consistently. Lots of food choices, just be prepared to have a food coma .

Everything was really bad. Such a huge deception. Before the pandemic this chain was a good family option. I came here last week and everything tasted sweet. Stop adding sugar to your dishes

While restrictions lifted this place has maintained its well-known reputation. Exceptional quality overall. The food is great as always, fresh and not over cooked. We noticed they've definitely up-ed their customer service game with outstanding service. Our server Tina was awesome! We didn't have to wait whenever we needed her. The iconic atmosphere was always eye-catching. Will come back again. Thank you!

I went to the Mandarin Restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday with my family and family friends. My server was John T, and I had such an amazing experience from start to finish. I am so glad they were able to accommodate my party size of 16 which turned to 18 people the day before at 6:00pm. I tried to call other restaurants and the only time they were able to accommodate us at the other restaurant was 8:00pm which was too late for my party. I would have to say the food is okay, but if you are looking for an exceptional experience to celebrate your birthday with a large party size, I would recommend this Mandarin at the North York location. And I forgot to mention, they take photos and give you a picture frame as a souvenir. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I used to love mandarin when I was younger. Unfortunately it has changed so much. A lot of the cold salad foods tasted old and looked like it had been there for a while. The main dishes were nice and hot but weren’t as savoury as I remember. Most of the food was a bit bland. The desserts were a bit better. The waiters were very attentive and very nice. Unfortunately I would rather eat at other restaurants with better quality food than this.

It was a fantastic first time experience for me.. The food was really awesome.. So many varieties are there to choose from and the desserts were really amazing.. Just yum.. Although I ate only vegetarian as I am a vegetarian but they have an equal balance of both veg and non-veg items and those are really enough to get your tummy full completely.. Special thanks to the staff Lucas and Patricia for their superb professional service to me.. Thank you for making my experience wonderful.. Will definitely advise others to visit this place for a wholesome experience.. Vegetarian options: There are enough options for the Vegetarian options to enjoy.. Personally I am satisfied with the veg options that they are offering.. Well done Mandarin team..
