Mama's Hot Italian Sandwiches

Love this place normally. This time my chicken sandwich tasted like the oil needed to be changed and was a little over cooked. Asked for light sauce that was good, got medium it had a nice bite to it and it was very cheesy. My husband got the meatball sandwich, it was a mess, couldn't eat it like a sandwich had to use a fork. He asked for hot and said it was good nice and spicy the way he likes it. Overall was ok, but we felt like we were bothering the front of store staff.

My boys and I went for lunch at mamas hot Italian today and it was delicious. I had the lasgna which was the special of the day and the boys had the meatball and a steak and veggies big sandwich. The portions were definitely on the larger side and the flavour of all 3 dishes were amazing! We will definitely be back on a Wednesday to have the coach Jay special

Best Italian Sandwiches in London If there is better, where?? I’ve been meaning to check out Mama’s Hot Italian Sandwiches for a while now and finally did. What I ordered: Chicken Sandwich w/ The Works What I liked: Everything Honestly no complaints the sandwich is . Here are some other things I liked : Service - the lady that served me was incredibly hospitable, attentive and you could tell by just speaking with her that she takes pride in their work. Fresh - made to order, need I say more. Bread, sauce, cutlet - all notch. Value $10 for a quality sandwich like this, incredible value. I had such a great experience in restaurant and my sandwich was still when I arrived home. I’ll be back and so should you! Support your local restaurant owners!!

Just wasted $45. Haven't been in yrs. WILL NOT GO BACK unless Dino & Eugene come back! Service awful, cleanliness disgusting, the cook/only worker had dirty finger nails, did not wear a hair net! I asked for a catering menu had a dinner party catered years ago when Dino & Eugene ran the place it was amazing - whew, dodged a bullet that she couldn't find all but one ripped sticky page! Ordered pasta with Alfredo, water not drained enough, so watery that it spilled out the container all over my car didn't notice at 1st because it was dark out but the drips all up my stairs and floor with the container having leaked thru the bag got my attention, it was tasteless. The meatball sandwich- just as another customer reported - a hot mess, bun so soggy you couldn't pick it up, tried to just eat the meatballs - also tasteless, sauce has changed to and although I realize it's subjective, I didn't like it, was MUCH better before. The veal sandwich- took one bite of just the veal again, the bun too soggy to even pick up it was crunchy!! Completely over cooked and it was not fresh at all. I threw out all of it!! Made a grilled cheese - delicious. Save your money and time. You'd be better off going to the Tim Hortons and grab a sandwich.

Was a loyal customer for years. I was in the area and hadn't been here in maybe 2 years. I was wanting a veal sandwich. When I arrived I was told there was no veal and no meatballs. It was noon, so wasn't sure why during lunch hours. But either way, I ordered a chicken sandwich. First off, the tomato sauce was so bland...had no taste. And the chicken was burnt. The breading on the chicken should have been golden, not black. To top it off, sandwich was not made with care at all. All the toppings had pretty much fallen out. Super disappointed to see such a great place go down hill. This sandwich and a pop was almost $20. Never again.

Used to love this place but something has changed. Got my usual favourite, the veal sandwich and this time it was terrible. Sauce tasted burnt, couldn't even finish it even though I was still hungry. Very dissapointed, may have to try it again but really didn't care for the servers attitude either, as someone else said, seemed like I was bothering her

I’ve been eyeballing this place for years and finally went in. The exact comfort food I was looking for. Definitely made like mama. Will be back again and letting friends know!

The woman who owns and operates this shop is delightful! Anyone in the area should stop in here for a sandwich and they’ll have your heart forever. The food was great service was great considering how busy it was seen lady switch gloves around the corner they were out of one of the Sandwiches I wanted but it was the holidays so I assumed delivery was switched ate here 3 years ago and the food has gotten better

When in for a veal sandwich, lady said they where out of veal. Thursday at 5 pm. Had a steak sandwich, was ok, cost $13.50 plus tax. Could be cleaner and friendlier. I'm trying to support local, but this place needs to step. I wont be back
