Hands down, this is the place you wanna go for Korean dish! I mean, dayuuuummmm it's so good we wasn't ready for it! So, it was a normal Toronto night weather like -21°C or something. Hungry af, so we randomly search Google and found this place. Called in ahead since we're driving in the area. We ordered spicy chicken rice bowl, spicy pork bowl and just the spicy chicken. The portion was absolutely amazing, complete with fried gyōza and kimchi. The spicy chicken was out of this world. SO FRIGGIN GOOD!! definitely saved it in your Google Maps bookmark because it's totally worth it.
I was having a hard time with food here but their Kimchi Jjigae filled my belly happily, cleansed my soul and gave this Mexican girl the spicy food she was mixing. Really loved the food and the purple rice was a nice addition. Will definitely visit again if I come back to Toronto.
Delicious Korean food with your typical dishes, served in more personal sized servings. Portions are decent although a little off for the price, however they definitely make up for it with their quality of ingredients. It would be nice if you could order items individually/separately instead of only in the prepared bowls. Great addition to the neighbourhood and a local go-to.
It smelled really good as I was walking by, when I walked inside, I was met by a very courteous and professional attendant took my order she suggested the best meal to get, in about 10 minutes I was on my way, the food was great nothing like I've ever tried, soft rice, The flavourful vegetables, I thought it was wonderful. It's not just the rice bowl, it's got flavor and plenty of flavor, I'm impressed, I'm planning to try the rest of them dishes soon as possible.
Ordered spicy korean fried chicken & kimchi fries. Kimchi fries was 10/10. The chicken was also good but not as crunchy/tasty compared to fried chicken I’ve had in other korean places. The spicy sauce was not evenly coated on the chicken - it seemed it was poured on top of regular fried chicken, instead of the chicken being tossed in the sauce.
I don’t know how to explain this , but the food here has got that homemade quality which you just can’t excel at home. It’s restaurant level taste and flavors but has that mom’s cooking nostalgia in it. The fried chicken was top notch, the batter is different and I can’t quite pin as to what it is but was absolutely delicious. No heavy grease, subtle flavours.. think I’m going to be quite the regular !
heard about this place on some blog and i decided to visit here. The shop is very nice, i ordered the japchae and it tasted very yummy, and i waited 10 minutes for my order too. The staff are very nice too. The portion sizing of the japchae is really big and you get a lot for your money. Definitely check out this place!
Ordered Bibimbap with chicken and spicy sauce, Chicken Katsu bowl and Tteokbokki. First of all all the dishes looked really pretty and portions were big! Super delicious Highly recommend this place. Will come back for more
I don't know what other reviewers are saying about quality or consistency - but on our first visit, it was great! In the picture: Bibimbap, cold noodles, kimchi fries, Korean fried chicken. Portions of chicken were a touch small, but the other portions were decent. $50 fed 4 people heartily. Service was prompt and very helpful for helping us make good choices. Allot ~20 minutes for larger orders like ours. We did takeout very limited seating inside - and the chicken and fries stayed crispy for a full 30 minutes in their containers. Very impressed. I'll be back!
I ordered a bunch of food together with my friends and we all LOVED the food. Everything was tasty and fresh. The fried foods didn't taste oily, the stews and jajangmyun were a big hit! Would definitely eat again . If anyone is craving some Korean food, the answer is Mama Lee's !
