I adore this coffee shop! Their baked good are very yummy looking! Their gluten free brownie is decadent and delish if you have a sweet tooth. Staff are always super sweet! I am so glad that they have lasted in the pandemic. They have a breakfast menu and I have only ordered it once but it was great!
Came here for lunch but the chef wasn't in, how unfortunate. Ended up ordering a brioche sandwich which was good but not filling. The tumeric tea is very light, so overall I was slightly disappointed with my experience. I might come back another time to try their full lunch menu and order a different drink.Food: 4/5
Amazing bakeshop and eatery to drop by. The baked goods and chicken on waffle was great. Most menu items not found in the GTA. Coffee is so, so. Not hot enough. Friendly and fast service.
Ordered takeout here yesterday with my friend. I ordered an ice coffee with soy milk and a shot of caramel, it tasted pretty gross and not like caramel at all and it was not filled to the top, about an inch of room was left and this is an iced coffee so no room needed?? We ordered the breakfast box and the main street breakfast and it took an extremely long time, mine must've come out after 15 minutes and hers after 20, it was even longer than restaurant service. The food itself was pretty good, really big box of tater tots, bacon, small salad, berries, eggs, etc. In the image I've attached that's about as much coffee was poured.
Fresh baked goods, a small but fresh and deliciously packed menu !! Me and my partner are regulars for sure : Ps bring back the tacos !!
I've been there 3 times. Each time had been a positive experience. The coffee and pastries are excellent. They really take there time with the espresso drinks to make sure they are done right. Friendly staff. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating
If you're hungry and you find yourself out Stouffville way, you need to treat yourself to a meal at the Main Street Bakehouse. The staff are super friendly, the patio offers a wonderful place to chow down, and there's some wonderful shopping inside - locally sewn crafts, ie. I had a tuna sandwich that was PACKED with cucumber slices, tomato, cheese and lettuce, as well as a super generous helping of tuna. I finished with an oatmeal-raisin cookie that was downright delicious!
Very crowded so come early. You need to grab a table and then order at counter unless taking to go. Lots of baked goods and their cooked meals were filling.
Always enjoy visiting here. The coffee is fantastic, and the casual atmosphere is inviting. It's a nice space to sit and stay a while. The selection of sweet treats and goodies is broad and there is a small brunch menu. Would like to see a couple vegan options on the brunch menu, but to be fair I didn't ask about modifications the menu options there are non-dairy milks . Will continue to visit and enjoy this place.
Today, my cycling friends and I had the opportunity to share multiple meals and baked treats from your establishment. Not only did we show up unexpectedly, but with over 20 of us. The staff behind the counter were patient kind understanding and efficient at taking our orders as well as delivering them. The food....OMG...was HORRIBLE! I ordered the chicken and waffles along with a few of my mates. The presentation of such a simple dish was impeccable. It made me feel as though I should've had on a button up with dress shoes sleeves rolled up of course...uhmm sliced cherry tomatoes, and other leafy garnish. The recipe for the fried chicken should be kept under lock an key...as well as the waffles! To the server who made my Chai tea and offered up an option for that sprinkle of ground Chai goodness...THANK YOU, IT WAS AMAZING! And to the server who took my order, to which I helped sell an oatmeal cookie, I'll need some compensation Overall, great staff, great food, and wonderful experience. Thank you Mainstreet Bakehouse
