Story
Located on the Lougheed Hwy in Maple Ridge between 203 & 207th in the new "Mageta Medical Building." Steven Lammers, Registered Physical Therapist, and Associates are opening the doors to this state-of-the-art clinic late November 2013. The services that will be offered include: Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, High Power Laser, Acupuncture, Spinal Decompression, Pre/Post-natal Massage and theraputic exercise, and Personal/ Sports Training.
The clinic is also excited to feature 'Studio 32 Pilates and Yoga' which offers reformer, mat training and clinical pilates.

Not what you think!! Had a physio appointment today, took 26 minutes and left afterwards. I called my benefits to see my coverage for future appointments. Blue Cross said I'm fully covered and it's free to me. I asked them what I was billed for during this 26 minutes physio? The Benefits said 60mins, hmmm so I decided to look into it further. I called Mageta and mentioned I was in 10 minutes ago and was billed 1 hr for a 20min session, they put me on hold and after 5 mins I hung up. To clear things up I went in to speak to the receptionist. It was not busy, no one in the waiting room, no phone ringing but some how I was on hold for 5min or more. I asked the lady for a receipt for the service and asked why they billed 1 hour. She got defensive and said that what the computer said and that how it's done. They never explained it to me after my service I guess they didn't expect people to do the right thing and contact their insurance company. Super super disappointed with the way they " hide " things. They tried to shooo me away with putting me in hold for a long time but didn't expect me to come in for clarification. I will not go back to a dishonest company even though it's free to me. This is why health care is expensive. Once they know your covered they go for every last penny. Watch what they charge you and ask why so this can stop Cheers
I’ve gone here many times over the years for various issues for my body. All of the staff who you deal with in your recovery are great. I can’t say the same about the receptionist. Brock is the most amazing therapist. When we discovered that I had compressed hips, even though he was going to loss money he was honest and agreed that I needed a chiropractor. The receptionist wasn’t supportive of that switch and insisted that I didn’t have the authority to make the decision to choose what was best for my recovery.
I have been seeing Steven for probably 5 years or so, for various issues that have popped up. I have seen other physios in the past, with ok results, but Steven at Mageta, was a game changer for me. I feel that he really can zero in on my issues, and has always given me great rehab advice for home care as well. I always have much improvement after sessions with Steven. I have also taken the rehab pilates at times, and have seen Radika for IMS as well. All great services and physios/kinesiologists. Thank you Steven, for helping me over the years, not sure i'd still be working if it wasn't for your help. **also...great music in the office!
I highly recommend Mageta Physiotherapy. The front staff are extremley helpful and friendly. The therapists are very professional and knowledgeable. My appointments have always been successful in resolving any issues my body is having.
Barruch helped me so much in healing my body from a rear end accident. He listens well to his clients needs, make them experience diffferent therapeutic treatments and equipments. Help with healing rejuvenating, strengthening and lengthening of muscles. Thank you so much being the best at what you do Barruch! We are blessed to have great physio like you in the Ridge Meadows. Steven and his team are fantastic! The care was great and the facilities are nice and clean. The appointment was easy to make. If you are in need of a great physiotherapist look no further. Steven will explain what is happening to your body and how intends to help you. The team is there to take care of you and you really sense it the moment you walk in. I will be returning!! Thank you for everything.
I have been a patient of Mageta Physiotherapy Clinic for about the last three months. I have always been skeptical of physiotherapy clinics based on past experiences; however Steven and his team have helped me out immensely and I have already referred friends and family for their services.
