Story

We opened our doors in July of 2004 and quickly became Bath’s neighborhood Restaurant and Bakery. We take great pride in our delicious, home made food,friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Mae’s Cafe supports area arts andeducation programs as well as other organizations that make Bath and its surrounding communities such an amazing place to live.

This is a favorite for me and the wife. Breakfast and lunch will leave you satisfied with plenty of options and good sized portions. The staff is very friendly and always a pleasure! There is plenty of seating and a reservable room available as well. Speaking of reservations; don't forget to make reservations if you expect to get close to this place during a popular holiday! (Like Mother's Day) The bakery will leave your sweet tooth begging for more! So many delicious treats to choose from including cookies and cakes.

If you are anywhere in the area you have to stop here! The food is amazing, they have such amazing variety of breakfast options that it is hard to decide what to get. Lamb sausage is made in house and delicious and the bacon was amazing. I saw people getting the cinnamon roll and had wished I got one. The cakes and pies looks amazing but I didn't have any of them unfortunately. The porch has a giant tree growing out of the middle of it, its a great place to sit and have breakfast.

We've been twice and each time we walk away stuffed and happy. The breakfast menu is a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Large meals guaranteed to satisfy or to meals if you don't want to eat it all in one sitting. The baked goods and pastries are very good as well. Huge cinnamon rolls that have a touch of lemon are almost a meal by themselves. Get one while they last.
