Local Market & Cafe

Fairly standard hipster joint. Can pretty much guarantee at some point someone will announce they are vegetarian or vegan. You know, that kind of crowd.

Cute little market! There are a few communal tables for smaller groups and smaller tables for 2 people. They have a variety of salads, sandwiches, and soups, and lovely homemade cookies. The soups are fantastic and the service is homely! The market part sells a lot of locally made products and mostly gourmet type foods, so if you need something specialty or just want something with local flair, don't hesitate to check it out. It's connected to the stationary and kids store so you can shop before or after you fill your stomach. They also sell bread from Standard Baking Co. :)

This is truly a local market. Most of the groceries are locally sourced or are unique, not to be found in the local supermarkets. They make great sandwiches and soups to eat in or to go. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful place - everything a Local place should be - great food, great items for sale, great places to sit and eat and relax. Our favorite place in downtown Brunswick.
