Madison Avenue Pub & Restaurant

This is a great pub. Multiple bars in same building with different themes as live music, dance floor. Great crowd. Very busy on weekends. Food is delicious for bar food. Cocktails are delicious too. Not very expensive either. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy loud music and young crowd.

Ambiance: 5/5 • Drinks: 4/5 • Service: 2/5 Overall review- The place is really good, but I wish the service were as good…it’s very busy, or just their service is usually lame idk. We had to wait to order just for some drinks & beer… waiting time to get our orders is a lot compared to other places. 3-star ratings for the drinks & vibes. They were pretty much good. I ordered gummy bear beige cocktail & love potion red cocktail. The ambiance of the pub is the best thing; it looks pretty during sunset.

I have been here a couple of times and really like the Victorian mansions and the vibe. They occupy three mansions and the pub is sprawled across the huge area. There are different sitting and bar zones and I still have to discover a few of those : They have live music, a piano and also pool tables. The patios are pretty good as well and can accomodate a huge party of people. The drinks and cocktails are limited and I was hoping to find some more variety. Also, they can do better with revamping the food menu and incorporating some more unique dishes to suit the Victorian setting. But, overall, it is a decent pub to party and cherish friendships.

The pub is located on 2nd floor, both outdoor and indoor. Nice server with great memory. I ordered pub burger with flies for myself. Taste delicious and value for money.

Good food good vibes! A really cool place to chill out with friends I recommend the sweet potato fries for sharing so yummm also the Canadian burger with caesar salad was good too. Services was excellent as well, the lady who served us was so friendly

One of my favorite places. Crazy busy on Friday night line up is on the street! so you better book a table online ahead Students meet up place ; Pool tables, patio, private rooms for special celebrations = it is NOT quiet place! Be ready to speak loud! Enjoy ;

I have been here a number of times over the last couple decades from my days at U of T to various events in my 20s. Nothing has changed--everything is where they are, washrooms, bars, etc. Maybe some upkeep but that's about it. One of my fave memories is the Piano Man and I'm glad it's still there. Was here on Saturday and standard fun it was. Eventually crowded especially for the footie match England v France. Service was hard to get as it was extremely crowded, waitress even forgot my drink--she apologized profusely and I ended up with a double shot of rye + ginger ale i ordered ginger ale--I was a happy camper, not like I needed that extra drink... as we were there for the footie match there were ample rounds of beers and shots. I also had an order of their medium wings. Nothing special, not steroid wings but basic wings, basic medium sauce. No complaints--order came pretty quick despite the crowd. There are various bars to walk up to, to order your drinks if you don't want to wait. Would I come back, sure, depending on the event. Not my usual watering hole as it is very much a student hub :D But glad it still up and running. Always a fun time. Also forgot—$6 pints of 3speed or Amsterdam Blonde! BONUS! There are various entrances as it is made up of 3 mansions. Close to St. George station--not easily accessible for those who require assistance or have wheelchairs and lots of stairs.

I enjoyed this place. Classic old pub feel which I miss and wish there were still more around. Servers were quick and lots of beer choices. They have a couple pool tables and lots of TVs. Was there for Man Utd game and there were a group of united fans which was nice as well.

Fun spot for drinks and pub food. Massive location, with multiple floors & screens to watch sport matches & games. Service is good - staff are friendly & helpful. Home pub for the Official Liverpool FC Supporters Club in Toronto & the GTA.

My first time here was an amazing experience and I would love to come back again soon. I wanted a quiet area, and I found it at the top patio. Very nice, respectful environment for sure. Food was definitely decilious too and worth trying again. Drinks were fine, not the best and pricey for the taste, so I'm deducting one star for drinks.
