Don’t pay with a Credit card, they charge 6% for each transaction and they make you pay if you return the item. 6% each transaction is way higher then the pruce of the market for the transaction with the bank. Don’t fall for this credit card scam.
My Windows desktop PC had an issue and would not turn on. The fan was making loud noises. I contacted them and eventually brought my PC there. There were two gentlemen who assisted me and very carefully listened to my problem. They mentioned that they will perform a diagnostic for a fee but if any repair is needed and performed; that the assessment fee will be waived. After one day Mario contacted me. The diagnostic was performed and he was so helpful with explaining exactly what was wrong and provided me suggestions with specific prices. My CPU cooler fan was broken but unfortunately those parts are no longer available new as my PC was 11 years old. He offered to search his inventory for a used one and asked if I would be okay if it was used as a replacement part for a discounted price. The amount of honesty and consideration was commendable. He eventually found a part which was unfortunately broken. His next suggestion was that he would still be able to repair the PC but a minor modification will be needed again because the PC being old. After telling me how much it would cost, he went further by advising me that the repair amount might be too much as compared to the cost of custom building a new one. He was never forceful and always had options there for me to see what might fit my budget the best. Every question that I had in back and forth emails was replied in a very timely manner and in a very professional way. I am glad to say that I do have my new PC which was affordable and works perfectly thanks to the experts. I found that all the guys there were really attentive to my concerns, great at communication, kind and above all very honest. I really appreciate the service, support and time I was offered. I would highly recommend Madd Electronique as I definitely will go back whenever I have a PC related issue.
Was buying something under 5$ and the cashier said i couldnt pay with my card! If i remember corectly, theres a law against that and plus when someone pays with a credit card there is no fee per transaction it is 3 percent for all transaction so this 5$ thing is just a scam to try to get you to spend more in their store!
This is probably one of my favorite stores. They have a lot of stuff and most of it is priced pretty reasonably. The employees are great and always willing to help. I must say though, I do miss the small cluttered location in Sainte therese, there was something special about it. However, the new store is objectively much better.
This store is very strict with its refund/exchange/credit note policy which in addition is not appropriately communicated on the invoice. Clerk neither store manager does not have skills to appreciate client customer best practices. They are very narrow minded. Be aware!
Friendly attentive staff; great selection of electronic/audio and PC components. Reasonable prices for a neighborhood shop. Proud to go here instead of buying from Amazon.
This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly a full of knowledge! The inventory is astounding and ever since they moved to this address the merchandise is way more visible and we’ll layed out. For any electronic, wiring, computer parts or whatnot this is the place to go!
Scalps in demands graphic cards Rtx 3070 on the side. So even though they're a distributor, They Pick out of their own stock , list the cards on Facebook Marketplace for a 300-400$ premium over the base Price. This is terrible buisness practice and should not be encouraged. I honestly suprised a buisness would put their reputation on the Line for 300$. Pretty sad actually. Edit: see Madd answer below, Makes sense , but Let's be Honest , its still pretty weird to see a Madd rep selling rtx30xx cards for over msrp on Marketplace with no explaination as to why the prices are not msrp. Still, Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.
Employees were very kind and helpful. Found all I needed and more after a good suggestion of a part to use for my project. Thank you.
