Mad Greg's Pizza

We had a good meal at The Mad Italian Pizza. This is a neighborhood pizza venue that takes the experience up a notch. The pizza is a hand thrown thin crust in the European style, so if you're looking for the more common Chicago style deep dish this is not for you. There were three of us and the pizza is individually sized. A meat lovers, a Hawaiian, and a vegitarian were all sampled. The outside crust is excellent and a real treat. However, the middle of the pizza had crust that was still soggy. I think the pizza needed just a minute more in the oven. Flavor was delicious though and that's the most important thing. Decor wise, the restaurant is currently refreshing. We were told a new owner is looking to create a more bar style pizzeria. It is expected that some things will be needing attention before they finish. There was also a staffing shortage when we were there and that impacted the experience. None of these concerns are long term and should not be interpreted as a lack of recommendation. It was clean and in good shape. Give it a try. The pizza with beer was a great combination. The pizza here is good, and would be great with that extra time in the oven. I recommend eating here. Order your pizza well done.

Pizza was really tasty, the toppings were loaded on but it wasn’t too much. Crust was crisp on the outside and nice chewy texture in the middle. Nice leopard spotting on the bottom and outer crust edge. It was also lightly drizzled with olive oil on the bottom and the top. Staff was very friendly and the décor was tasteful. Also tried the margarita pizza as well as the pepperoni. For me the margarita is the benchmark of how good or how bad a pizza place is, and this margarita pizza was very good. I shared it with an Italian friend that is a pizza fanatic and said it was one the best he had locally.

The pizza was pretty good, it meant to be eaten alone or shared between 2 people. They don’t have variant of sizes. But the service was outstanding. They really paid attention to our needs and made sure everything is okay.

Had a great time with my friends here! Amazing service, cool atmosphere, all around good vibes! The pizza was soooo delicious! It’s hand made and you can really taste the quality, I highly recommend the chicken alfredo! The owner is so nice, he took the time to chat with my friends and I, he’s super friendly and welcoming! We just moved to Langley and this will be our go to pizza spot!!!

The pizzas were delicious and the atmosphere is nice. The only thing that I didn't like was service because they didn't have enough staff. We were asked to sit outside and they would take our order but they forgot that we were there so, after a while we had to go inside to remind them that we were there. Also, the tables weren't clean but I guess that was because of staff shortage as well.

Exceptional customer service. We were in a time crunch and the manager got our pizza to us very quickly. Tasty and quality pizza. We will be back.Food: 5/5

Our friendly neighbour favourite pizza place! The pizza is delicious. Tons of options to chose from. They just added a bar inside with TVs to make the atmosphere better. They also have a fire table outside on the patio in the summer time. Great vibes. Highly recommend! The owner is great.

Best pizza anywhere, no exaggeration. Awesome that it’s our neighbourhood. Really great quality pizzas and paired with a beer it’s hard to beat. Great spot for a date or going out with friends. Nice vibes. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

My wife and I went for an afternoon pizza and drink. We. Both ordered the "mad Margarita" and we shared a Margarita pizza. The drinks were Terrible. It tasted like drinking salty lime juice straight out of a lime. The menu states "real lime juice" but we saw them use a bottle of lime juice you. Buy from the store. The tequila is very poor quality, and the ratios were just way off. Deffinitly avoid this drink. The pizza was decent but bland. Served with large pieces of mozzarella and three Huge basil leaves. In order to enjoy each slice we had to rip the basil leaves apart and place a few pieces on each slice. Maybe a fun way to. Enjoy pizza, but we had our son with us and with the added attention he requires, I was not in the mood to "hand craft" each slice. All in all not a terrible experience, the piano on site provided entertainment for my son a d there's 6 tv's for your viewing pleasure. The only other issue I had is the tables were not cleaned off in a swift manner. Dirty plates and cups from previous customers were left for a long time making the atmosphere less pleasurable.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was to die for and all toppings were locally sourced and incredibly fresh. Really impressed with this place—highly recommend it! Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly and vegan cheese options available
