MacLeod Lorway Insurance

We had an amazing experience with MacLeod Lorway Insurance last month. We have been clients for the past 3 years. My husband and I live in Sydney, NS and purchased a new vehicle on a Saturday, 3.5 hours from our home. We needed to confirm our insurance before being able to take the vehicle off the dealership lot. When we phoned MacLeod Lorway on the Saturday, we spoke to a representative immediately and they had our confirmation information faxed to the dealership within an hour. This was a huge convenience for us as we wanted to keep all of our insurance with the same company. Thank you very much for offering this service and making it easy to do business with you!

Unrealistic Insurance Prices. Was told in office one price and got another from their Insurance company Aviva. Cancelled Policy, was informed of refund but instead they take additional money after cancellation not even on the correct agreed upon dates. I haven't had much success with this company and would recommend looking at all the other options in Cape Breton.

I would not deal with this company again if you paid me ,I moved out of province and they are going to cancel my insurance on my house as they say it's the underwriters policy not to insure rental property unless I have a primary house on policy also! The house isn't even a rental property as my sister is living in house until it sells and I'm receiving zero income from her but now after having this house insured for 4 years now and paying upwards of 5000$ per year just to insure this house along with having vehicles, equipment, other properties and boat insured through them they are cancelling my home insurance and giving me 3 weeks notice. So they are telling me you cannot insure a home unless you are living in same province and are paying for two policies. Obviously didn't try to find any options for me!! Thanks Macleod Lorway!!! I'll make sure I tell everyone I know!!! These guys don't even deserve 1 star rating but you have to give one so consider my rating ''''ZERO''''!!!!!!!
