Been renting from macs for 10 months and out of the 7 other landlords and they’re by far the best. Renting from them is the best home-wise thing thats happened for us in 7 years.
We have been dealing with Liz for over 15 years and she has always been able to help us find what we are looking for. She has always went above and beyond for us.
Liz has been an amazing landlord. Beyond friendly, very easy to talk to and deal with, and has always addressed any problems immediately. I would highly recommend Macs Realty!!!
There are so many bad things I could say about Liz and Laurie. Right from day one they were horrible at there jobs and showed no care towards my property. I'm so happy to be no longer working with them. It truly is unbelievable how lazy they are. Please do yourself a favor and go with anybody else to manage your property
I used Macs Realty for several years to manage my property. Liz and Laurie are amazing. They always made sure i had suitable tenant and always kept in touch with me. My rent was always deposited into my account on the said date and I had no worries. If your looking for a Reliable Property Management company, reach out to Laurie and Liz at Macs Realty and they will take great care of you!!
Liz is fantastic ! Last summer I was looking to purchase my first house and was nervous about everything that it entailed, but Liz made the process fun and enjoyable! She knew exactly what to look for and helped me find the perfect house ! Liz is honest, trustworthy and so easy to talk to- I highly recommend Mac's realty!
Lived in a property managed by Mac's for four months. Liz and Laurie were on the ball when it came to meeting my needs. Any issues I encountered were investigated or resolved swiftly with ease. Perfect set-up for a practicum student. Thank you kindly.
Rented a property through Mac's realty. It flooded with sewer water twice in less than 2 months. Throughout the restoration period, I ended up having an expensive pair of earrings stolen, it took two months for them to put the place back together, it was never cleaned after either of the back ups other than a mop and bucket was used to rinse the new kitchen lino, so I ended up giving notice and moving out. She kept my full damage deposit and sent me pics of absolute non-sense as to her reasons why. Also, my daughter is renting a property through her company. She has been incredibly rude and unprofessional in her dealings with my daughter and her husband. My son-in-law has been doing work for the actual owner of the property in the basement suite and was told by her not to be talking to the owner at all. Then when Liz was told that there may be a gas leak on the property, she told them that they needed to start looking after those things themselves and considering that the utilities are included in the rent, they were not sure which company they were to be contacting. She also told them that they have to be keeping their dog kenneled at all times and to clean up all the mess out in the yard. Said stuff belongs to the owner and it is from the construction going on in the basement suite and in no way the responsibility of the renters. Liz and her support staff are very rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone use her for managing their property let alone anyone renting from her. In response to your to your reply. I most certainly did not ever accuse anyone of stealing my earrings. I advised you that they went missing during a period of two days when people had been in and out of the property. As for my cat, we talked about her when I moved in and told you that she was living elsewhere when I moved in but that eventually I would have her. And you and I were friends on facebook as we have known each other for 20 plus years so you knew that Patches was living with me as I have posted many pictures of her there but she wasn't a problem until I gave notice to move out of the property. The property was exactly in the same state as it was when I moved out as it was when I moved in. The only thing that was not done was the carpet in the bedroom was not professionally cleaned as that would be the landlord's responsibility given that sewer had backed up twice in the place and would have been tracked throughout the suite. As far as my daughter renting from you, it is in the complete disrespectful way in which you treat them and talk to them. The basement suite is not rentable as it has been under construction since the previous tenant moved out and then has flooded a couple of times since then. It has not one thing to do with you who is renting upstairs. The owner of the home will attest to that as well. Again just showing your unprofessionalism and resorting to making false statements.
