A gem of a bakery! Reasonably priced bakery items and beautiful presentation. Made me want to almost try every single item in the store. There are also other Portuguese food products on one side of the bakery and a food order area at the back. So many interesting beverages to try as well. I highly recommend dropping by for a visit. Limited seating available near the entrance.
Went here today and bought a few of the pastries. Loved the pineapple tart, cheese cake, natas pastels and peach muffin. Okay for the almond tart. Will definitely go back and try a few of the other things that were available. I thought the prices were reasonable. Overall, the service was great. The people in the store were welcoming and inviting. Enjoy this little touch of Portugal.
Quaint little bakery with a taste of Portugal. Lovely to sit and enjoy the comfort of a baked good along with a nice cup of cappuccino as i prefer. Or you can have a meal. Lusa Bakery also has the convenience to purchase some of Portugal’s finest food and bread. Loved my experience!
Ugh! Stopped by here and was so impressed. Their coffee is *impeccable* we tried at-least 1 of every item in their savoury side : cod cakes, shrimp cakes, ham chorizo and cheese croissants, sausage croissants & of course a tart. Highly recommend! Felt like we were in Portugal.
We had a quick bite at this place on Sunday - all pastry was so fresh and tasty. The staff is so friendly and polite - very impressive. Place is clean and I would recommend it with confidence.
Lusa Bakery's croquettes are addictive! My favourites are the traditional bacalhau and shrimp, though they're really all quite delicious. After ordering one of each and devouring them outside the bakery, I promptly turned around and went back in for another batch! The pastéis de nada is delightful as well. Not too sweet and the perfect touch of cinnamon. I like having mine warm so I toasted them at home. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Amazing pastries. We have a large custom order and they handled it well. My friend loves Portuguese tarts so we bought a bunch for his birthday. Made his day and everyone at the party loved it. 3 dozen natas and bola de berlim gone in minutes.
Best pastel de nata that I've had since I was in Portugal. Great coffee and my wife and daughter loved the tosta mista grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I wish they were closer to home but are well worth the trip to Hintonburg.
I am obsessed with pastel de nata! They are delicious! I always get them as treats from Lusa's for special occasions and whenever I crave them! They are addictive little tarts! Sprinkle some cinnamon and icing sugar on top and its delicious!
