Lupe's Drug Store of Fairfield, serving the community "One Patient at a Time"
In 1954, Carl A Massaro Sr. R.Ph brought Lupe's Drug Store to Fairfield. Together with his wife, Dorothy Lupariello Massaro R.Ph, the two UCONN graduates worked the store together until they started their family.
Lupe's was originally located at the corner of Judd St and Black Rock Tpke. It moved in 1981 to Tunxis Hill Rd Cutt-Off. In 1983 Craig A Massaro R.Ph joined his father in practice after graduating from the UCONN School of Pharmacy.
In 1992 a devastating fire consumed the Tunxis Hill location and Lupe's moved to its current address of 2035 Black Rock Tpke.
Through the decades my father and I pride ourselves most with quality patient care. Having the trust of our patients and their doctors is paramount to our existence.
We have been blessed through the years with a work staff that exudes passion for exemplary patient care. My sisters, Carla R.Ph and Christa PhT, have been with us for close to two decades which makes Lupe's a true family owned and operated pharmacy.
It is my belief that some things can't be delivered effectively through big-box stores or mail order operations. Medication is probably the best example of that.
I also believe what makes the "Lupe's Difference" is the fact that we have the same pharmacists, technicians, and staff available every day to offer thorough and complete service. We know our patients by name and tend to their needs promptly and accurately.
Over these 61 years Lupe's has transformed to meet individual patient needs, from the soda fountain mainstay of the 50's to the ScriptPro robotics state of the art drug dispensary of the 21st century. Lupe's offers IVR messaging for 24/7 access for physicians and patients, online refills, free delivery, and curb side service.
I would like to thank the great people of the Fairfield area for trusting us with your medication management. It is our privilege to serve you, "One Patient at a Time".
