Stopped in to Lunn's while visiting my old school COGS. The staff were friendly, the burger was great, the Pub Ale ESB was delicious, and I brought home a growler of the Eclipse Black IPA as well. Great beer! I am a Propeller guy, and would recommend Lunn's. Two thumbs up!

Good selection of craft beer with available sampling packs and growlers. Fair sized menu of a variety of pub foods with reasonable serving times. I recommend the Porter.

If you're a big fan of the modern style of hop-heavy brewing, then you'll be pretty happy with the offerings here. If not a fan, you may be disappointed. The beers have good flavor, but unless the recipes have changed over the summer, all except their light blonde ale are quite hoppy. I find this brewery suffers from a common problem among breweries, which is poor naming, e.g. There is an expectation when a beer is called a London Pub Ale- and that expectation is for a smooth, usually creamy, slightly bitter, and slightly funky amber to brownish ale that has very light hop presence. Their London Pub Ale is not so; it drinks more like an IPA. Not an insanely hoppy IPA, but a standard one. I don't know if they allow tastings. They didn't the last time I was there, but they are a growing business with new developments all the time. I encourage you to try them out and support the microbrew boom in Nova Scotia, for it is glorious. :)
