Just grabbed a drink and sat on the patio to stare at the ocean awhile! Killer view! Lovely selection of cocktails and non alcoholic beverages! Staff were delightful!! I will try the food next time I visit as the menu looks good!
We were 2 couples and every dish was superb. Color, arrangement, fragrance, texture and unique flavor. The margaritas were also excellently crafted and delicious. Service and setting couldn't be beat.
What an amazing experience. The staff from the host to the server to the food runners were so friendly and amazing. We sat on the lower outdoor patio facing the harbour, great view. I got the Carnitas tacos and they were a 10/10 for taste and presentation. To drink I got a white sangria, it wasn’t the greatest but it was refreshing and very very boozy. All in all I would 1000% recommend coming and experiencing this restaurant.
Lunitas is a fantasy!!!! Their location is absolutely an ideal for a date night. Their food was extremely delicious and they had the top customer service. The host welcomed everyone with the most enthusiasm that I have ever seen. Her interaction was super friendly and she made us wanting to try the restaurant regardless of the long wait. Their staff was all friendly as well and they took care of us super well. We had 2 chicken tacos to start, they were very tasty. The quesadilla and the burrito were brilliant, the portion was enough to fill up 2 people. They also have a variety of drinks and they all looked interesting. The cocktail and mocktail that we ordered were very refreshing. We recommend everyone to visit their place, to enjoy their food and have the best experience like we had.
Went for the dinner time. The food is good taste wise. They have few vegetarian options as well. The receptionist girl was really nice and welcomes you very well. I has ordered guacamole and chips but the portion of guacamole was enough just for the half of chips so that was lil disappointing but overall a good restaurant. They have good sanitized and cleaned arrangements. The picture is of chimichangas ordered by my husband.
A must go to in Gibsons! Their patio is situated with views of the harbour, making it the perfect way to enjoy a sunny day/evening. Their tacos and guac were yummy, although the prawns could use a bit more zing. Wish I could’ve tried more!
Once you find this gem of a place, it will become a main staple for dinner. Food was prepared quick, came out hot and was very tasty. Went back the next night and ate there again!
This place is so good! Had the pork belly tacos and it was a bit too spicy for me however it was still so flavorful. My husband and I had to switch and he ate my pork belly tacos and I ate his fish tacos. Both were so good! I also had the elote Mexican street corn to start with and I'm so glad I did!! Oh, and their peach margarita special was yum! Staff was friendly and customer service was great! We are visiting for the first time from Vancouver and definitely made our trip memorable and will surely miss this restaurant!
Our favourite restaurant in BC! We live on the mainland, but we booked our trip to the Sunshine Coast this year with the sole purpose of coming to Lunitas again. The drinks were amazing, and the food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the KFC tacos and the guacamole! Seriously amazing service too, our server was so wonderful and kind. She made our experience even better, as did the gorgeous view. Thank you, for a great night, Lunitas!
Very nice patio Mexican close to the marina. Great views. We got a range of different dishes to kind of tapas it up a bit. Chef does seem to have a more salty palette though dishes overall very flavourful. Only slight drawback was bar backed up a bit so long wait for drinks to start and they didn't come out together.
