Lunenburg War Memorial Arena

Great place to go skating, however, dress warm as the arena is very cold

it is what you'd expect from a fried seafood food truck--frozen fries, and pretty good fried scallops. no frills, for a reasonable price.

Home to Lunenburg Farmer's Market on the weekend, and this is where the town recommends visitors park as well if they're looking for free parking to visit the harbourfront. It's around a 10 minute walk to the harbour, an easy walk and not too hilly or steep at all.

Great game Friday night...Lunenburg U11 hosted the Western Valley U11 Spartans.

My favorite market!! The beautiful energy you feel when you enter is amazing. The vendors are fabulous, knowledgeable and talented. I look forward to breakfast every Thursday. The scotch egg is super yummy!! Take many reusable bags...they will be filled!!

It is a good old arena. Prepare to be in a classic old nova scotia rink, a blanket, winter clothes, hats and mittens are a must.

Great old barn. Filled with ambiance and memories of a thousand games I played here in my youth. Ice is small, an it's one of the colder rinks around, but the staff is great, and it's a great place to play, and ref.

This old barn smells like small community hockey! It's not the fanciest rink, but it has that charm that you can't beat!
