Lube Stop

Had my oil changed here as I was in a hurry one day and didn't have time to do it myself. (I always due my own oil changes provided I have the time) Fast forward 8000km I'm due for an oil change. As I went to change my oil I discovered that my drain plug was rounded off and stripped I phoned the lube stop explained the situation they said come over and we will have a look. They then proceeded to tell me it was "impossible they could have done it" i find this hard to believe. Considering the torque seal THEY put on the drain plug to indicate any tampering was still intact, I asked them to explain that. Their response was "they didnt see it" They then proceeded to try and charge me for a new drain plug. They wanted me to pay for their poor work that damaged my drain plug. When I stood my ground and told them I wouldn't pay their mistake and wouldn't leave until it was fixed i was met with arrogance and attitude. The most frustrating part was their complete unwillingness to make the situation right. Having been a former assistant manager of a quick lube for 2 years in the past I'm no stranger to customer service, and how to correctly do an oil change, I've literally done thousands. The complete lack of willingness to right the situation and arrogance was more than enough for me to never step foot in their seedy business again. Highly recommend avoiding these people. More than happy to take your money, not so willing to correct there mistakes.

Brought our 2014 Jeep trailhawk there for a regular oil change. got about half way home and engine light came on. Turns out the didnt put the oil filter on properly, almost ended up seizing the engine, but managed to stop and shut off the engine in time. called the shop and the manager did end up coming out to install new filter and add oil. brought vehicle to jeep dealer the next day, they found no problems. lube stop did pay for it. bit when I asked to be reimbursed for initial oil change they refused saying they did more then what was required, even tho it was their policy to do what they had done. When I asked for their head office phone number they refused multiple times. All in all terrible workmanship, but did help out a bit. Would never recommend this place to anyone purely on the job they did
