Thought I'd trust the plentiful good reviews, but I've learned my lesson now... especially in "yt" predominate areas.... the food I received was kind of sad. The "salad" is literally just a bag mix iceberg lettuce salad. Should've just went to Lao Sze Chuan for the same price, if not cheaper and for bigger/same portions. The employees are very nice, and the place is cozy, but the food is definitely not "the best in the area" lol. General tsao was good, but it was very akin to buffet quality. Feel like I wasted money as I went out of my way to try a pricier $11-16 per dish, high rated place only to receive mediocre food...
It's not the usual Chinese place where the sauces are just dunked in all dishes. the food we had was carefully curated.our server even explained us about the dishes ahead so that we are aware of the choices we made. Very clean and very prompt service. Giving 4 stars only because we went only once so far. But I can see myself coming again to try more.
The service is very good--servers are very attentive. I very much enjoyed their lo mein noodles. Good flavor and well made. It is a quiet and comfortable place.Food: 5/5
Bright and inviting atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, thanks Daniel for taking care of us. Food was fresh and delicious. From appetizer to dinner dishes were timed just right with just the right amount of time between. Only recommendation is add traditional black tea as an option to green tea which was a little weak. Other than that highly recommended this place.
Excellent lunchtime decision. Very clean restaurant with respectful service. I ordered one of the the $8.95 lunch specials T-F, Pad Thai Chicken, Hot and Sour soup and a Pork Egg Roll. Also ordered a hot tea to drink, $2.00. The Pad Thai was flavorful not to spicy and the Pork Egg Roll was light, crispy delicious. The Hot and Sour soup was incredibly tasty, with a kick. The restaurant also a Sushi bar, with seating. I will come back to try the Sushi next time. Beer, Saki, wine is available. They do not accept AmEx. My fortune... “If you can shape it in your mind, you will find it in your life”
Surprise in the corner of Wheaton's Danada square. The restaurant is not obvious but their food packs a delicious bite! The presentation of their food is really outstanding, adding to the appeal of their dishes! It reflects their attention to detail. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, very soothing and quiet. Good ambience to relax and meet up with friends. I came here twice and both times they did not disappoint. The first time I came I had the more typical Chinese cuisine with fish and friend noodles no photos unfortunately. The second visit I tried the Pad Thai and walnut shrimp. The walnut shrimp is ridiculously delicious! So creamy, sweet and perfectly deep friend with crispy exterior and tender interior! The pad thai however falls short and does not resemble what a pad thai should look or taste like. It is more like a stir friend tomato noodles with flat noodles. It's tastes ok but not quite what was imagined.
Great food made by a chef trained in Japan. Wide array of creative and traditional rolls. Takeout orders definitely back up at night but the dining experience is pleasant and well-priced.
Best Chinese food I've ever had. One of the best restaurants regardless of the type of cuisine. Enormous portions. The nicest, friendliest people.
I have not been here since the lockdown, ordered delivery and can I say… it was just as wonderful as I recall!!! The crispy Beef is amazing, sweet slight spicy with broccoli just delicious! Daughter had the sea same chicken which was great, we also had egg rolls and chicken fried rice the chicken tender big huge slices best I ever had!! Order was delivered before the time they promised we be ordering again everything g was spot on!!!
I am sorry to be writing a public review and I give so much credit to the restaurant industry, especially the last couple years. I wasn’t sure how to handle this since I ordered through grub hub, but I did feel I had to say something… I ordered a seaweed salad that arrived frozen. As in I could not eat it as it was covered in crystallized ice. I waited 20 minutes for it to thaw, and it was then in a bath of water, and tasted like a freezer. I am so disappointed and was really looking forward to this meal :
