Love's In The Hair

so I fried my beautiful, blonde hair by accident. I put in olaplex treatment no.3 on the ends, left it overnight with the intention of washing it out before bed but I didn't make it that far... Mom life really has me tired and defeated these days... I woke up in the morning and completely forgot that I even put the treatment in, styled my hair with a straightening iron and there you have it, it seemed like I fried my hair all the way to the root. I couldn't even comb through it with my hands after the next wash. Needless to say I was horrified, confidence out the window... I didn't wash or touch my hair again for 10 days, hoping the nature oils would help my hair somewhat, well it didn't. I thought I was going to have to shave my head, I mentally prepared for it. I was suggested to Jen for the first time at loves in the hair as my final resort by a couple of my girl friends who live in GTA, I live about 2 hours away... First of all Jen was worth the long drive 1000%. The salon was bright, and clean, I loved the decor and furniture, plants every where and comfortable recliners that don't break your neck. The salon was just a really good vibe, Jen was so professional, pleasant and stylish. I felt very comfortable giving her the wheel during her creative process to bring me back to life, and she did just that ! I'm so grateful for her right now and I will definitely be visiting her again for a touch up in a couple weeks. She decided to go with the money piece bang only for the illusion of still being blonde, while maintaining the integrity of my hair as much as possible and gave me the cutest short little bob, I've received compliments every single day, by the way! Jen you we're awesome thank you so much !

I originally placed an order with Love is in the Hair in mid December, after a supplier issue prevented them from being able to fulfill my order in full, they quickly contacted me to offer a higher end product with no increase in price. They also added in a little extra for my trouble. Outstanding customer service!!

I went for a consult for hair extensions with JC and didn’t really feel like my business was needed. She made me feel like I was unwanted there. It’s too bad because I spend thousands of dollars on myself every month. Their lost. Learn how to smile JC and not be stuck up to potential good clients.

I had a lovely experience at Love's in the Hair with Jamie! They were running late with an earlier client so texted me to let me know, which I really appreciated. I was nervous as this was my first experience with extensions and I had gone back and forth on whether I wanted a full or half head and sometimes with Toronto salons you get the uppity staff that don't have patience or are not willing to answer your questions -- Jamie walked me through every step of the process and made it all easy and enjoyable! I am obsessed with the results so far! I haven't washed them yet, and some of these reviews have me a bit anxious to see how the quality of the product holds up, but as of right now -- I am thrilled!

I have only the most positive things to say about Love's and their staff. Jen is a master colourist and has helped me achieve the best colour of my life! My hair was not in great shape when I first started going to Love's - it is very fine and was over processed. Jen gave me great advice about how to achieve the best colour for my skin/eyes colouring and for the texture [fine] of my hair. The extensions are also the best I've ever had - great advice was given to me by Jen and Anthony on type of extensions for my hair type; and the care and precision of the installations is the best I've had in 18 years of extension wearing. My hair has never grown as much as it does now and the extensions are always beautiful. Jen [and all the staff] are so kind, never judgemental [of my poor natural hair] and it's such a fun place to hang out! I highly recommend Jen [and Anthony; I've had no personal experience with the other stylists; but their clients always look gorgeous in the salon]...she's my Hair Angel.

I have been going to Jennifer for my hair colour and extensions for over a year now and haven’t looked back. I finally found a stylist who knows exactly what they are doing and has the proper technique for your type of hair/style. She is polite, professional, highly educated and always makes me and my hair look amazing! I highly recommend Jennifer at Love’s in the Hair for anyone who’s looking for high quality hair care and extension services.

Unfortunately the extensions they installed don’t blend well and I didn’t feel they made much of an effort to rectify the situation. The extensions had an ashy/peachy undertone when I specifically requested they be warm enough to blend with my hair. When I reached out with my concern they said washing them would tone this down but it didn’t. I’m left in a position where I’m going away for several weeks and they can’t fit me in to fix it before and it’s too late to get an appointment elsewhere for new extensions. So I went to another salon that could fit me in and had them removed. Would not recommend for extensions.

I’ve been coming to see Miranda for 4 years. The quality of the hair and her work along with the other stylists is amazing. Highly recommend her salon. She offers many type of techniques including fusion, micro ring, tape-ins and micro-weft. I’ve had fusion, micro ring and tape-ins from her. My hair is very fine but she has a hair type to suit everyone. Her pricing is also very affordable. Definitely 5 stars

Jen is the GOAT. I live an hour from the city but will always make the trip in to see her. She has a unique ability to automatically know what would work for her clients and is very easy to talk to. She matched the extensions I wore for my wedding and I got and still get so many compliments on how well they blend with my natural color. I love the staff and the atmosphere. They also text which makes life extra easy. Highly recommend :

For someone who has been dealing with hairloss for the past decade, I am so happy to have found this place to bring back my confidence. Their name implies it all.
